Explore the beauty of the Cascade Mountains in the Pacific Northwest in this outstanding aerial video by former DVOW Finalist mikereidphotography.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 3 around Washington Pass, which sits at an elevation of just under 5.5k ft. above sea level (around 1.65k m) in the North Cascades in the state of Washington.  The video features footage of Liberty Bell, the Early Winters Spires, Kangaroo Peak, Silver Star, and more.  Washhington Pass and adjacent Rainy Pass are both crossed by Washington Route 20.  

Top AirVuz contributor antonchayka brings us this excellent south-to-north aerial mini-tour of Portugal.  The video opens with shots of the Algarve, the southern region famous for its cove beaches and spectacular rock formations.  At the :53 mark, you'll see the 25 de Abril Bridge in Lisbon, followed by the Dom Luís I Bridge, which spans the Douro River in the northern city of Porto.  At :58, you'll see the seaside town of Azenhas do Mar, which lies on the Portuguese Riviera in the province of Sintra, just to the northwest of Lisbon.  

Take a tour of the legendary trails of the Portuguese island of Madeira, compliments of AirVuz contributor Yannek.   Located off the coast of Northern Africa, Madeira (which had been previously uninhabited) was Portugal's first "overseas" conquest at the dawn of its Age of Discovery which began in the early 15th century. Filmed with a DJI Air 3 drone, the video will take you over this subtropical paradise, which is known for its stunning interior mountains and rainforests, waterfalls, and spectacular coastal cliffs.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner davetke2002 brings us this fantastic drone video of one of the most iconic sites in Southeast Asia: Cambodia's ancient temple complex of Angkor Wat.  Built in the early 12th century by the Khmer Empire (which ruled much of Indochina for a time) in what is now the province of Siem Riep, it's considered the world’s largest religious monument.  It was originally a Hindu temple before becoming tied to to the Buddhist religion a few decades after its construction.  

Due to the presence of an offshore canyon, the area around Nazaré on Portugal's Central Coast is known for some of the largest waves ever seen in the Atlantic Ocean.  That's why it's not only widely considered to be Europe's top surfing spot, but holds numerous records for the highest waves ever surfed.  In this video by AirVuz contributor MCYDRO | FPV • DRONE, you'll see the surfing scene in the wake of Storm Herminia, a major winter storm which caused damage across western Europe and some truly monstrous waves aropund Nazaré.  

Explore the fabled French Mediterranean island of Corsica with this fantastic FPV drone video by top contributor piotr_fpv_13.  Starting at the :06 mark, you'll fly over the water towards one of the island's famous watchtowers, which were constructed during the period of Genoese rule of the island in the late Middle Ages.  From there you'll be treated to a pair of shots following rocky ridges down to the coastline, followed by a series of shots from the island's mountainous interior.  The video was filmed in southern Corsica.

Former DVOW Winner Cinelifter Media brings us this fantastic drone video from Italy's Dolomite Mountains.  Filmed during a stretch of inclement summer weather, the video will take you over these magnificent peaks, which form part of the Southern Limestone Alps chain and which cover parts of several provinces in the northeastern part of the country.  The video includes some outstanding first person view (FPV) drone footage.  At the :18 mark, you'll see the San Giovanni Church, in the Val di Fune in the province of South Tyrol.

Top contributor AlexCarboniFPV brings us this FPV drone tour of one of the most iconic spots in Rome, Italy: the area around the Spanish Steps.  Built in the early 1700's, the 135 steps connect the Piazza di Spagna to the Piazza Trinità dei Monti.  The video features outstanding footage of the steps themselves as well as their most famous surrounding landmarks: the Fontana della Barcaccia, a fountain in the Piazza di Spagna (near the base of the steps), and the white Trinità dei Monti, a Renaissance era church at the top of the steps.   

Top AirVuz contributor seb-depp brings us this excellent drone video of a famous German monastery.  It's called the Walkenried Abbey, and it's located in its namesake village in the northwestern state of Lower Saxony.  The abbey was founded by the Order of Cistercians in the 12th century.  Once one of the wealthiest monasteries in German lands, the abbey fell into disrepair and suffered numerous depredations during the German Peasants War of the early 16th century and later the Thirty Years War.  

Former Drone Video of the Year Winner remefpv brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video from Margarita Island, a Venezuelan island in the Caribbean Sea.  Venezuela's largest island, it lies off the country's northwestern coast in the state of Nueva Esparta, roughly at the same latitude as Trinidad (to the east) and the same longitude as the British Virgin Islands (which lie on the sea's northern side).    The video features footage of the island's beautiful beaches as well as some of its cultural landmarks.

One of the most iconic spots from the Indonesian province of Bali is not on the island itself but rather on the tiny "satellite" island of Nusa Penida.  In this excellent drone video by PandK, you'll see this tropical paradise from above.  FIlmed with a DJI Mini 3 Pro, the video will take you over Nusa Penida, which covers about 80 square mi. (around 203 square km) which lies just across the Badung Strait from the southeastern coast of the main island.  The video features footage of Broken Beach, Kelingking Beach, and more.

Get a unique aerial perspective of some of the largest football (American soccer) stadiums in Algeria with this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone reel by top contributor MansourZER.  Stadiums - particularly when filled with thousands of fans - are fascinating to view from fast-moving FPV quads, which are able to capture angles and fly at speeds which can't be reached by gimbal-stabilized quads.  Of course, these flights are taken in collaboration with the venue management and follow strict safety protocols.  

Former DVOW Finalist Valsoiapg brings us this excellent drone video from the city of Rome, Italy.  The video opens with a shot looking towards the Victor Emmanuel II Monument, followed by a first person view (FPV) drone fly-by of the ancient Colosseum.  At the :34 mark, you'll see the statues atop the VE Monument, and at :48 you'll see the distinctive round dome of the Pantheon.  Other featured locations include the Spanish Steps (1:01), the Mausoleum of Hadrian (1:13), the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran (1:27), and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor and pilot davidpardo71 won the Drone Video of the Week contest in April of 2025 with this fantastic video from the Pyrenees Mountains.  With peaks ranging up to altitudes of about 11.2k ft. above sea level (around 3.4k m), the Pyrenees form the natural boundary between Spain and France, dividing the Iberian peninsula from the "mainland" of Europe.  The video was filmed over northern Spain and Andorra, a tiny landlocked country located on the eastern side of the chain.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Cinelifter Media earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist with this fantastic FPV reel.  The video opens with a shot flying through a factory, transitioning to a fitness studio and then an auto dealership.  At the :18 mark, you'll fly through the cockpit window and down the aisle of a regional jet parked in a hangar.  Other highlights include drift cars (:28), a communter train fly-through (:35), a solar farm (1:11), a wingsuit flyer (1:13), and more.

Top AirVuz contributor PANVELVET earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist with this fantastic compilation reel, which was mostly (although not entirely) filmed in China.  The video features some spectacular footage of the Great Wall, a series of linked fortifications built over a 2,000 year period to protect the Chinese heartland from the depredations of nomadic tribes on the Asian steppe. You'll also be treated to shots of the skyscrapers of Shanghai, hilltop Buddhist temples and monasteries, and more.   

Top AirVuz contributor Kpax earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist with this excellent video from the Blenio Valley in southern Switzerland.  The video was filmed with a DJI Air 3S drone in the course of a hike to the Punta di Larescia, a peak of the Lepontine Alps in the canton of Ticino.  The Lepontine Alps are a subchain of the broader Alps system which straddles the Swiss-Italian border, covering parts of the Swiss cantons of Valais, Ticino, Uri and Graubünden and the Italian regions of Lombardy and Piedmont.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, new contributor italiadimezzo brings us this fantastic drone video from Italy.  The video features footage from all over the country, including the central province of Marche; the Gran Sasso massif in the Appenine Mountains in the east-central region of Abruzzo; the Dolomite mountains in the northern regions of Trentino-Alto-Adige and Veneto, including the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo formation; the northeastern region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Passo dello Sluga, on the Swiss border in Lombardy; and more.  

Top contributor Gizmo Drones brings us this fantastic drone video of the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne, a memorial to the country's soldiers killed in the First World War.  Australia was defined as a nation by its participation in the war, which broke out just a few years after Australia was granted independence by Great Britain in 1901.  As a Dominion country, Australia made an immense contribution to the Allied victory, both in Western Europe and in the Gallipoli campaign: over 60,000 of its soldiers died during the conflict.  

Top AirVuz contributor David L brings us this stunning drone video from the downtown of West Palm Beach, Florida.  Located about 70 mi. (around 110 km) north of Miami, West Palm Beach is actually a few years older than Miami, having been incorporated in 1894.  The seat of Palm Beach County, West Palm Beach is sometimes considered the third city of Greater Miami, after Miami and Fort Lauderdale.  Highlighted locations in the video include the Meyer Amphitheater, the Flagler Memorial Bridge, Clematis Street, and more.  

Top contributor seb-depp brings us this excellent air/ground video of Exeter Cathedral, one of the UK's most famous churches.  Located in its namesake town in County Devon in South West England, the construction on the building began in the early 12th century, shortly after the Norman Conquest, but it didn't take on its present shape until around 1400.  Among its distinguishing features is the largest continuous stone ceiling of any building of Medieval Europe.  The cathedral sustained heavy damage in a bombing raid during World War II.  

Top AirVuz contributor ArturCarvalho brings us this fantastic drone tour of Porto, Portugal's "second city" and the largest in the northern part of the country.  The video was filmed on a foggy day using both a DJI Avata 2 first person view (FPV) drone as well as a DJI Mavic Pro 3.  The video opens with alternating shots of two of the city's most famous landmarks: the Serra do Pilar Monastery and the Dom Luís I Bridge.  Further on in the video, you'll be treated to shots of the Old City, the Douro River waterfront, and more.  

Former DVOW Winner dronesantana007 brings us this fantastic drone video of Osaka, Japan's third-largest city.  The video opens with a shot flying up the Aji River, past the Tempozan Ferris Wheel and towards the bridge of the same name.  At the 1:16 mark, you'll see the Minato Bridge, which features the third-longest  cantilever truss span in the world.  Just before 2:00, there's a shot further up the Aji River, where it flows through the central part of the city.  Other highlights include Osaka Castle (first seen at 2:32).

Former Drone Video of the Year Finalist be_mesmerized brings us this stunning aerial tour of Switzerland.  At about the :18 mark, there's a spectacular shot facing toward a massive rock formation, and at :31 there's a shot of the creator walking over the Trift Bridge.  The bridge runs a length of 560 ft. (170 m) over the lake Triftsee at a height of about 330 ft. (around 100 m) near the town of Gadmen in the canton of Bern, in the area known as the Bernese Oberland, the most mountainous part of the canton.  

Brand-new contributor MCYDRO | FPV • DRONE brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video of one of the top surfing spots in Europe.  The video was filmed near Nazaré, which is located roughly in the middle of Portugal's long Atlantic coastline.  This is the heart of the Silver Coast, a stretch of coastline which produces some of the world's largest waves due to the presence of an underwater canyon.  Surfers have broken numerous records here for riding the largest waves, reaching (officially) up to 86 ft. (26 m).   

Check out these fantastic drone views of the sunrise in Sydney, Australia by former DVOW Finalist Gizmo Drones.  At the :18 mark, a single shot captures two of the city's greatest landmarks: the Opera House (foreground) and the Harbor Bridge (background).   At :389, you'll get a nice view looking southwest towards the city's skyline from a spot roughly over the Opera House, and at :50 you'll see the Government House just south of the Opera House.  Other highlights include Darling Harbor (1:58), the W Hotel (2:27), and more.  

Take an aerial tour of Turkey's storied Aegean region, compliments of top AirVuz contributor LokmansIn.  The video opens with shots around the town of Göcek, which is part of the Muğla Province in the country's southwestern corner.  The next stop is the seaside town of Fethiye, a bit to the south, considered the heart of the Turkish Riviera.  The last stop is the ancient city of Ephesus, which is located a bit to the north (towards the city of İzmir) and was one of the main Greek settlements on the Asian mainland during the Antiquity.  

Top contributor Reinis Vilnis brings us this excellent one-shot drone video of the Freedom Monument in Riga, Latvia.  The monument was built in the 1930's to commemorate the soldiers killed in the Latvian War of Independence, which broke out in 1918 and resulted in Latvia becoming a sovereign country.  Latvia was subsequently absorbed by the Soviet Union in 1940 before winning its independence again following the dissolution of the USSR in the early 1990's.  The Freedom Monument is considered one of the most important national symbols.  

Brand-new contributor ask-TV.de brings us this stunning drone travel video from Southeast Asia.  The video opens with shots of the volcanic Mt. Bromo, on the eastern side of the Indonesian island of Java.  The next stop is Mt. Kelimutu, another Indonesian volcano, this one on the island of Flores.  At about the 2:20 mark, you'll see Mt. Kelud back in East Java, and at 3:10 you'll head to Nong Han Kumphawapi Lake in northern Thailand.  Other locations include Indonesia's Komodo National Park, the Mekong River in Thailand, and more. 

Drone Video of the Year Runner-Up T-christ-T brings us this spectacular drone video of the great city of Tianjin, China.  One of the ten largest cities in China, Tianjin is located at the mouth of the Hai River on the Bohai Sea (an inlet of the Yellow Sea), about 70 mi. (around 110 km) southeast of Beijing.  One of China's largest seaports and the principal port for Beijing, Tianjin occupies a critical spot on the Grand Canal, a waterway which connects many of the most important rivers in eastern and northeatern China.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week/Month Winner NI used a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone to create this stunning aerial video of New Zealand.  The video was filmed over the South Island, home to NZ's most dramatic alpine scenery.  Much of the video was filmed over the Southern Alps, which run roughly parallel to the South Island's western shore and which reach altitudes of up to about 12.2k ft. above sea level (around 3.7k m).  It also features footage from the area around Wanaka, just to the southeast of the main peaks of the Southern Alps.  

Top contributor Jan Barančík - DronistaCZ brings us this fantastic 2024 first person view (FPV) drone reel.  The video opens with epic shots bearing down on a supercar as well as some drift cars, and at the :31 you'll zip past a highliner.  At :38, you'll fly through an auto assembly plant, then follow along an underground train track.  Starting at :53, you'll surf some mountain ridges, and at 1:11 you'll follow a biker racing through a town.  At 1:27, you'll fly through the legs of a hockey player then chase some full-scale airplanes.  

While Southeastern Brazil may be best known for its cities (São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, by far the country's two largest), it's also home to the country's tallest mountains.  In this excellent video by former Drone Video of the Week Finalist LPHOTO TRILHAS E MONTANHAS, you'll explore some of the country's alpine landscapes.  The video features footage from the Serra da Mantiqueira (including Itatiaia National Park) and Bocaina ranges, which cover parts of the southeastern states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro..  

AirVuz contributor fdescds92 used a DJI Mini 4 Pro to create this beautiful aerial video of some scenic spots in northern Norway.  Most of the video was filmed along the Helgelandskysten, a scenic route which runs a roughly north-south route along Norway's Atlantic Ocean coastline in Nordland County, from the town of Holm in the south to the village of Godøystraumen in the north.  The northern part of the route lies within the Arctic Circle, a bit to the east of the southern end of the Lofoten Islands.  

No, it's not Mars, it's Argentina!  Top AirVuz contributor Cinelifter Media brings us this stunning drone video from a little-seen but spectacular part of the giant South American country.  The video was filmed over the Salar del Hombre Muerto (Salt Pan of the Dead Man), an other-worldly salt pan located in the northwestern part of the country.  Situated on the border between the provinces of Salta and Catamarca Provinces, it's part of the Puna de Atacama, a plateau of the Andes Mountain system which also covers parts of Bolivia and Chile.

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist and pilot Gustavo Quiroga brings us this fantasti drone video from the Andes Mountains in Argentina.  The video was filmed over the provinces of Mendoza, Neuquén, and Rio Negro, which run along the eastern slopes of the great mountain chain in the middle latitudes of the country (Rio Negro actually extends eastwards all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, while the other two provinces are landlocked).  The video was filmed with a DJI Air 3 and a DJI Mini Pro 3 drone.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Ádám Katona // filmingdrones
  brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video from the Portuguese island of Madeira, which lies off the coast of North Africa.  The video alternates between scenes of some of the most iconic Madeira topography, including interior mountains that run up to 6.1k ft. above sea level (just under 1.9k m), subtropical rainforests such as the Fanal Forest on the island's western side, and giant offshore rock formations along its coasts.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Finalist DroneDirector brings us this stunning drone video from Denmark's Faroe Islands.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 drone in and around the village of Leirvik, which lies on the eastern side of the island of Eysturoy, the second-largest in the archipelago (whether measured by population or land area).  Leirvik is connected by an underwater tunnel to Klaksvík on the neighboring island of Borðoy; Klaksvík is the second-largest settlement in the islands.  

Check out these beautiful springtime first person view (FPV) drone views of the tiny East European country of Moldova, compliments of AirVuz contributor Sidsmith85.  Formerly part of the Soviet Union, Moldova emerged as an independent country in the wake of the dissolution of the USSR in the early 1990's.  Situated between Ukraine and Romania, much of the landlocked country is part of the Moldovan Plateau, a highland area just to the east of the Carpathian Mountains which also covers parts of northeastern Romania and southwestern Ukraine.

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor DroneyMak brings us this fantastic drone video of the Litli-Hrútur volcano in Iceland.  Litli-Hrútur is part of the Fagradalsfjall volcanic system on the Reykjanes Peninsula (in the island's southwestern corner) which began erupting in 2021.  The Litli-Hrútur eruptions began in early July of 2023 with a series of earthquakes followed by an initial lava breakthrough about a week later.  The initial eruptions here saw larger lava flow than the 2021 and 2022 Fagradalsfjall eruptions.  

Get a bird's-eye perspective of one of the most famous peaks in the French Alps with this fantastic first person view (FPV) mountain surfing video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot AirFineProd.  The mountain is called Aiguille du Dru, and it's part of the Mont Blanc Massif, home of the highest peak in the entire Alps system.  Aiguille du Dru has a peak elevation of about 12.3k ft. above sea level (around 3.75k m).  It's situated a bit to the northeast of Mt. Blanc, roughly halfway between the village of Chamonix and the Italian border.  

Former DVOW Winner ArturCarvalho brings us this fantastic drone video of the legendary surfing waves in Nazaré, Portugal.  Located about 70 mi. (around 120 km) north of Lisbon in the Centro Region, Nazaré known for some of the largest waves ever surfed: in early 2018, a Portuguese surfer caught a wave here thought to be as high as 115 ft. (35 m).  Nazaré is the heart of a longer stretch of beaches called the Silver Coast, which is commonly regarded as the best (if also the most challenging) surfing spot in Europe.  

Enjoy thes drone views of the mountains of Portugal, compliments of top AirVuz contributor Timearth.  The video was filmed over the Serra da Estrela, a system of mountains which runs over a portion of north-central Portugal and which is part of the Sistema Central, a chain of mountains which form an arc through the Iberian Peninsula.  The Serra da Estrela is home to the highest peak of mainland Portugal, the Torre, which has a summit elevation of just over 6.5k ft. (about 1.95k m) above sea level.  

Top AirVuz contributor piotr_fpv_13 earned his second DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding FPV travel video from Iceland.  Filmed during a seven day wintertime trip across the North Atlantic island, the video opens with shots chasing a car along a partially snow-covered road, followed by a shot of the Highlands, a mountainous area in Iceland's interior.  At the :24 mark, you'll hug a canyon wall, and at 1:01 you'll skim over one of Iceland's legendary black sand beaches.  Other highlights include waterfall dives and mountain surfing.

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Gustavo Quiroga used a DJI Mini Pro 3 to create this excellent drone video from southern Argentina.  The video was filmed in and around the city of Bariloche, the largest urban concentration in the province of Río Negro.  Río Negro is (along with its western neighbor,  Neuquén) one of the two northernmost of Argentinian Patagonia, the eastern half of the broader Patagonian region (shared with Chile) that sits at the southern tip of the South American continent.  

Top AirVuz contributor Robin Puskas returns with this fantastic video from Thailand's fabled province of Krabi.  Krabi is situated in the southern part of the country, on the eastern side of Phang Nga Bay (an inlet of the Andaman Sea).  Created with aerial drone footage and supplemented with ground camera shots, the video brings out the stunning natural beauty of the area, which is known in part for the limestone rock formations which serve as tiny islands in the bay and can also be found dotting Krabi's coastline.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor MJ Kim brings us this excellent video from the Philippines.  Created primarily with drone footage and supplemented by ground camera and underwater camera shots, the video was filmed on the islands of Cebu and Bohol.  Cebu is a long narrow island in the Central Visayan Islands (the collective name of the islands in the central part of the archipelago), and Bohol is a somewhat smaller island just to its east.  HIghlights include some dramatic shots of the Chocolate Hills in central Bohol.  

Take a tour of the Portuguese island of Madeira with this fantastic travel video by AirVuz contributor rcwolf.  The video was filmed primarily with FPV drones, with supplemental ground camera footage.  At the :20 mark, you'll dive down a waterfall, then cruise through the Fanal Forest, a subtropical rainforest on the western side of the island.  At 1:13, there are some epic shot diving toward and over some massive offshore rock formations, and further on in the video you'll soar over some of the island's interior mountain ridges.  

Top AirVuz contributor rezarafizadeh brings us this excellent springtime video from northern Iran.  In stark contrast to the desert and near-desert landscape of much of the country, the northern part of Iran is covered by forested mountains known as the Alborz, which run roughly parallel to the Caspian Sea and cover much of the provinces of Gilan and Mazandaran.  As you'll see in the video, these lands bear closer to resemblance to the Caucasus Mountains or even the Alps in Europe than to central and southern Iran.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner kostas Gur brings us this fantastic aerial video from Greece's Mt. Olympos.  The home of the gods of Greek mythology, the mountain's peak is located about 50 mi. (around 80 km) southwest of the city of Thessaloniki, on the border between the regions of Thessaly and Macedonia.  It rises to an elevation of about 9.6k ft. above sea level (around 2.9k m), making it the tallest mountain in Greece and one of the most prominent peaks in all of Europe.  It has been designated as a World Biosphere Reserve.  

Top contributor Là-haut drone earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding video from the South Island of New Zealand.  The video was created with footage from a first person view (FPV) drone as well as shots from a (gimbal-stabilized) DJI Mavic Pro 3.  It features locations in the Southern Alps (including Mt. Cook (Aoraki), New Zealand's highest mountain) as well as in the Otago region a bit to the south.  Highlights include a "flyunder" of a train bridge (at 4:16), an epic waterfall dive (5:47), and more.  

AirVuz contributor jimthorley used a DJI Mavic Pro 3 drone to create this magnificent aerial tour of the UK's famous Bamburgh Castle.  Built on the foundation of an 11th century Norman fortification, it's located in Northumberland, one of the main counties of northeastern England.  Bamburgh Castle was the site of a key siege in 1464 during the War of the Roses.  In more recent times, the castle has made numerous appearances in feature movies, ranging from the 1961 classic El Cid to the 2015 film adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth.

Former DVOY Finalist Feeling Good - Guillermo Garcia brings us this fantastic drone video of Porto, Portugal.  The video opens with a beautiful shot of the banks of the Douro River.  At the :19 mark, you'll see the Dom Luís I Bridge, which spans the Douro and was the longest of its type when it opened in 1886.  At :30, you'll see the Stock Exchange Palace (Palácio da Bolsa), one of Porto's great landmarks.  Other highlights include the Monastery of Serra do Pilar (1:23), the Felgueiras Lighthouse (1:54), Clérigos Church (2:10), and more.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist mikereidphotography brings us this spectacular single-shot video flying through a hole in a mountain in northern Vietnam.  For reasons which will be clear when you watch the video, it's called Angel Eye Mountain.  It's located a little under 20 mi. (around 30 km) east of the town of Cao Bằng in the province of the same name, which is one of the country's northernmost territories and which has a long border with neighboring China.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 3. 

AirVuz contributor yin090 returns after a multi-year hiatus with this fantastic wintertime drone video of Russia's Lake Baikal.  One of the great natural wonders of the world, Baikal is the world's oldest and deepest lake, as well as its largest by water volume.  Part of a rift valley, the lake runs a length of nearly 400 mi. (around 640 km) through southern Siberia, covering an area of over 12k square mi. (around 32k square km).  Reaching a maximum depth of almost 5.4k ft. (over 1.6k m), it holds over a fifth of the world's freshwater.  

AirVuz contributor Jaybee2786 brings us this excellent drone video of Scotland's giant Murrayfield Stadium.  The rugby stadium is located just to the west of central Edinburgh.  The home field of Scotland's national rugby team, it seats nearly 68k fans, making it the largest stadium in Scotland and the fifth-largest in the UK.  The stadium opened in 1925, and was extensively renovated in the mid-1990's.  It sits adjacent to Edinburgh Rugby Stadium (aka Hive Stadium), a much smaller venue with a capacity of only about 8k.  

Top AirVuz contributor T-christ-T earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot with this outstanding drone video from southern Germany.  The video was filmed over the Ravensburg District, which is lies in the southeastern corner of Baden-Württemberg, one of the two main states of the southern part of the country (the other being Bavaria, which lies just to its east).  The district is part of the historical region of Upper Swabia, which is bounded by the Swabian Alps, Lake Constance, and the Lech River.  

Top contributor Là-haut drone earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list with this fantastic video from New Zealand.  The video opens with a dramatic shot of the famous Archway Islands of Wharariki Beach, at the northwestern tip of the South Island.  From there you'll head into the Southern Alps, which run along the the South Island's western side.  At the :20 mark, there's an amazing waterfall dive, and at :58 you'll skim over the top of a rocky ridge.  Featured locations include the Atago region, near the south island's southern tip.  

Top AirVuz contributor NI earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot in March of 2025 for this excellent drone video from the mountains of Taiwan.  While the island is located just above the tropics, its mountainous interior experiences a much more temperate climate than its southern latitude would suggest.  Taiwan has peaks running up to nearly 13k ft. above sea level (around 3.5k m), and at these higher altitudes snowfall is now uncommon.  The video was filmed with DJI Air 3S drone.  

AirVuz contributor Airviewstudio brings us this excellent drone video of an area of northern Portugal near the Spanish border.  The video was filmed over the Viana do Castelo District, which lies near the northernmost part of the country in its Norte region.  The video features footage of the Nossa senhora do Minho sanctuary, the do Pincho and Poço Negro waterfalls, Cabedelo Beach, São Lourennço chapel, the Eiffel Bridge, Viana Monument, Santiago da Barra Fort, the Outer Dock Lighthouse, and more.    

Top AirVuz contributor davetke2002 earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding aerial look Indonesia's Mt. Bromo, one of the world's most well-known active volcanoes.  Named after a Hindu god, the volcano is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park in the province of East Java.  The volcano has been in a state of eruption or near-eruption during much of the 21st century thus far, leading to numerous warnings and advisories.  Nevertheless, it continues to be one of Indonesia's biggest tourist attractions.  

Former Drone Video of the Week/Month Winner LokmansIn brings us this outstanding drone video from the Transylvania region of Romania.  The video opens with shots around the town of Râșnov, which lies just north of the Southern Carpathian Mountains.  At the :46 mark, you'll get a view of one of the fortified churches which are found in the region, followed by a shot of the Râșnov Fortress.  At 1:04, you'll see the center of Brașov, which lies a bit to the northeast of Râșnov  and is one of Transylvania's largest cities.

Top AirVuz contributor Chris Jeon brings us this fantastic piece from Scandinavia.  Filmed during the wintertime, the video features stunning shots from Norway, Iceland and Finland.  At the :30 mark, you'll see the Dyrhólaey Lighthouse near the southern tip of Iceland, followed by the Preikestolen rock platform in western Norway.  Other locations include Iceland's Gulfoss waterfall (1:10) and DC-3 wreck (1:19), the Fredvang Bridges in Norway's Lofoten Islands (1:25), the iconic stadium of Henningsvær in Lofoten (2:38), and more.  

Former DVOW Finalist nayyar2006 continues his series of aerial videos of Austria.  The video opens with a pair of shots flying through two snow-covered mountain valleys.  Starting at the :40 mark (and again at 1:37, and 2:50), you'll get a marvelous view of the medieval Hochosterwitz Castle, which sits atop a rock formation near the town of St. Veit an der Glan in the southern state of Carinthia.  At 2:07 (and again at 4:35), you'll see Hohenwerfen Castle, which is perched on a rock above the Salzbach River in the state of Salzburg.  

AirVuz contributor Francisco Rodrigues brings us this excellent drone video of one of the natural wonders of the Portuguese island of Madeira: the waterfall known as Miradouro da Garganta Funda.  It's located near the western tip of the island, which lies off the coast of North Africa.  The waterfall is accessible via a roughly one-third mile (.6k) walk from the village of Pedregal.  The falls stand about 460 ft. tall (around 140 m).  The video also features some nice footage of the nearby Atlantic Ocean coast.  

AirVuz contributor Francisco Rodrigues brings us this beautiful drone video of the Fanal Forest on the Portuguese island of Madeira.  The forest covers a portion of the western side of the island, which lies off the coast of North Africa.  It's known as a Laurel Forest, which exist in subtropical environments.  At one point these forests covered much of Madeira and the surrounding islands, but most have been cleared.  Fanal Forest, which covers about a sixth of the area of the main island, is now protected by conservation laws.

Take a tour of Croatia in this excellent drone video by contributor AnemosFPV.  Filmed with a DJI Mini 4 Pro as well as a DJI drone, at the :30 mark there's a marvelous shot of the medieval town of Dubrovnik, followed by a view of the ancient arena of Pula on the Istrian Peninsula to the north.  Starting at :45, you'll see the tower of the Church of St. Euphemia in Rovinj, also in Istria.  Starting at :55, there's an extended flyover of Dubrovnik, and starting at 1:34 you'll fly over the city of Split, the largest on the Dalmatian Coast.  

Top AirVuz contributor T-christ-T brings us this stunning drone video from Luoyang, China, one of that country's oldest cities.  The video features the Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park, which houses the palaces of the Sui and Tang dynasties that reigned over much of modern-day china from the 7th-10th centuries AD and which in represented in many ways the high point of Chinese culture and power.  Luoyang is an interior city near the confluence of the Yellow and Luo Rivers in the province of Henan.  

New AirVuz contributor jimthorley brings us this excellent drone video of a well-known lighthouse in Scotland.  The lighthouse sits at the southernmost point of Scotland, on the Mull of Galloway, at the southern tip of the double-headed peninsula known as the Rhins of Galloway.  Constructed in 1830, the lighthouse is 85 ft. tall (26 m) with a focal height of 325 ft. (99 m), enabling it to be seen by up to 28 nautical miles away (52 km).  The lighthouse is still active although it's been automated.  

Former DVOW Finalist Laurent Paris brings us this marvelous drone video from Malaysia.  The first part of the video was filmed over the Perhentian Islands, a small archipelago off the northeastern coast of peninsular Malaysia, near the entrance to the Gulf of Thailand.  Starting at the 1:50 mark, you'll head to Putrajaya, the national administrative capital, which lies just to the south of the city of Kuala Lumpur.  Here you'll see landmarks such as the green-domed Perdana Putra (the Prime Minister's residence) and the nearby Putra Mosque.

Check out this fantastic aerial tour of the great city of Singapore, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Gizmo Drones.  The video opens with a great shot of the Marina Bay Sands, the giant resort-casino which opened in 2010 and is already the city's most-recognized landmark.  At the :07 mark, there's a nice shot looking west over Marina Bay towards the city's core skyscraper cluste.  At :24 you'll see the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay (also on Marina Bay, and at 1:05 you'll see the Singapore Flyer Ferris wheel.  

Check out these excellent drone views of Portugal's Pena Palace by AirVuz contributor dronie_views.  Located in the hills of Sintra Province northwest of Lisbon it's one of the great cultural treasures of Portugal and widely considered one of the world's top 4-5 castles.  Completed on the site of a ruined medieval monastery in 1854, it was built as a summer residence for the Portuguese Royal Family.  Its design represents one of the more prominent architectural expressions of 19th century Romanticist thought.  

AirVuz contributor @Real Mike X Fpv brings us this excellent drone video from the mountains of Crete, the largest island of Greece.  The video was filmed over and around Mt. Spathi which is part of the Dakti (aka Lasithian Mountains) range that covers much of the eastern part of the island.  Appearing as the birthplace of Zeus in some Greek mythology, Dakti has a peak elevation of just over 7k ft. above sea level ar about 2.15k m.  The highly cinematic video was filmed with  first person view (FPV) drone.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week/Month Winner PANVELVET brings us this fantastic drone video of China's Great Wall, complete with a set of traditionally-garbed dancers and an electronic keyboard player.  The Great Wall is a series of fortifications built in the mountains surrounding the Chinese heartland for protection against the steppe nomad to the north and west.  Construction began in the 7th century BC and continued intermittently for centuries, reaching its current extent during the Ming Dynasty that rules China from 1368-1644. 

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Finalist timoksanen brings us this excellent wintertime video from Finland's Lapland region.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 drone and supplemental ground cameras, the video was filmed in Kolari and Muonio in Fell Lapland, the area in the northwestern corner of the country which borders Sweden to the west and norway to the north.  Both Kolari and Muonio are on the western edge of the region, bordering Sweden, and well within the Arctic Circle.  The video was filmed in February of 2025.  

In this DVOW Finalist video by top contributor Uglefisk, you'll explore some stunning scenes of nature in Norway.  The video opens with a shot of a hiker walking along a windswept snow-covered mountain ridge, followed by a stunning view of a fjord.  At the the :45 mark, there's a shot of a waterfjall cascading down to the fjord below.  At 1:28, there's a stunning shot of a beach backstopped by mountains, followed by a magnificent view of a hiker along another ridge.  Other highlights include some stunning shots of backcountry skiers. 

Check out this magnificent drone video of Berlin, Germany by top contributor dronesantana007.  The video opens with a shot of the Berlin Cathedral, the largest protestant church in the country.  At the :31 mark, you'll fly past Berlin's reddish-brown City Hall (Rotes Rathaus), with the old city hall (Altes Stadthaus) in the background.  At :53, you'll fly over the spires of the St. Nicholas Church, and at 2:07 you'll see the Bebelplatz square.  Other locations include the Berlin TV Tower (2:14), the Humboldt Forum (4:04), and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor Marco Miele brings us this impressive drone video from a town on Italy's Lake Garda.  The town is called Peschiera del Garda, and it's located at the southern tip of the lake, in the province of Verona.  A popular tourist destination, the town was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire prior to World War I, and was home to one of four major fortifications which protected Austria-Hungary's border with Italy.  In earlier times, it was the home of a bastian fort which protected the Venetian Empire.

Contributor Drone AéroView brings us this excellent drone video of a pair of lighthouses in the Brittany region of northwestern France.  The two structures are essentially the only buildings on Cap Fréhel, a promontory that lies on the northern side of the Breton Peninsula, in the Côtes-d'Armor department.   The shorter lighthouse was built in the 17th century while the taller one dates to the mid-20th century.  Cap Fréhel is the western end of the Emerald Coast, which extends east past the town of Saint-Malo.  

Prepare to be blown away by these spectacular aerial views Norway's Svalbard Islands, compliments of top AirVuz contributor and drone pilot denisbarbas.  He used a DJI Inspire 3 drone on a two week trip to the archipelago, which consists of five larger islands and over a dozen small islets located roughly halfway between the northern coast of mainland Norway and the North Pole.  The northernmost islands lie at around 81 degrees north latitude; making them among the most northernmost points of land on Earth.  

AirVuz contributor themaprod used a DJI Mavic Pro 3 to aerially film a popular ski area in the French Alps.  It's the Les Deux Alpes ski resort, and it's in Isère, one of the departments of the French Alps region.  France's second-oldest ski resort after Chamonix, its village sits at an elevation of about 5.4k ft. above sea level (around 1.65k m).  Its lifts run to 11.8k ft. ASL (3.6k m), giving it one of the largest total available vertical in the world.  It is also home to the world's largest skiable glacier.  

In this video, former Drone Video of the Week Finalist nayyar2006 continues his aerial tour of Austria.  The video opens with shots from Hohe Tauern National Park in East Tyrol, which is home to a number of peaks and valleys of the High Tauern range (part of the Eastern Alps).  At the 2:27 mark, you'll see the Felsenkapelle cliff chapel, which is built into the side of a mountain (also in East Tyrol).  Starting at 4:24, there's an amazing shot flying through a mountain valley during a snowstorm.  

Multiple DVOW Finalist Dronescapes Ireland brings us this magnificent aerial video of Ireland's Mt. Errigal, one of the most famous peaks of the Emerald Isle.  It's  part of the Derryveagh Mountains (also known as the Seven Sisters) which cover much of Donegal, the northwesternmost county of the Irish Republic.  With a summit elevation of about 2.4k ft. above sea level (750 m), Errigal is known not so much for its height as its shape as well as its unique pinkish appearance in the right sunlight conditions.  

Top AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot FADAH_FPV brings us this spectacular video from Norway's Lofoten Islands.  Brilliantly edited with "setup" shots from a (gimbal-stabilized) DJI Mavic drone, the video will take you over the archipelago, which lies on the northern part of Norway's western coastline, within the Arctic Circle.  Opening with a shot skimming over one of the islands' many fjords, at the :19 mark there's a "reveal" of one of the area's iconic fishing villages.  Further on you'll fly over the mountains which dot the islands.  

In this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video by salva.tours, you'll cruise the coast around one of the most famous beaches in Portugal.  Ursa Beach (Praia da Ursa) is located in the heart of the Portuguese Riviera, the stretch of Atlantic coastline west and northwest of Lisbon.  Ursa Beach is distinguished by the giant rock formations which sit just off the shore, which are thoroughly explored in the video.  Praia da Ursa is considered the most westerly beach on the mainland of Europe.  

Check out this stunningly cinematic first person view (FPV) drone video from the Italian island of Sardinia, compliments of AirVuz contributor Patrick Talma.  The video opens with a series of dramatic shots hugging the coastal cliffs of the Mediterranean's second-largest island, and at about the :45 mark there's an epic dive past some giant rock formations toward a cove beach below.  At around 1:10, a cruise through a coastal gulley will take you down onto another semi-hidden beach and into the recreational boats beyond.  

Top AirVuz contributor Karem Hajoj earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic video from the Alps Mountains in the heart of Europe.  The video was filmed over the course of six months trekking through some of the world's most beautiful alpine scenery.  It features footage from five separate locations in the Austrian and Bavarian Alps, which cover much of western Austria and a portion of southern Germany, respectively.  The video was filmed with a DJI Air 3 drone, whose light weight makes it perfect for the job.

Top AirVuz contributor T-christ-T brings us this spectacular drone video from the French region of Brittany.  The video opens with a shot of the Saint-Mathieu Lighthouse in the town of Plougonvelin near Brest, at the western tip of the Breton Peninsula.  At the :13 mark, you'll see the great fortress-monastery of Mont Saint-Michel, on the border with Normandy.  Other featured locations include the Ploumanac'h Lighthouse on the Pink Granite Coast (1:04), the Petit Minou Lighthouse near Brest (1:40), La Vieille Lighthouse (2:18), and more.  

Check out these fantastic drone views of the mountains of southern Poland in this video by AirVuz contributor Yannek.  The video was filmed in winter over the Sudeten Mountains, which cover parts of southwestern Poland, eastern Germany, and the northwestern Czech Republic.  The highest peak of the Sudetens, Sněžka, lies on the Polish-Czech border and has a summit altitude of about 5.25k ft. above sea level (around 1.6k m).  Poland's tallest peaks are located a bit to the southeast in the Tatra's, part of the Carpathian chain.  

Check out these beautiful drone views of a famous beach in New Zealand, compliments of AirVuz contributor Michael Antcliff.  The video was filmed in the area around Piha Beach, which lies on the western side of the base of the North Island's Nortlhland Peninsula, about a half hour drive west of central Auckland.  Situated on the Tasman Sea, Piha Beach is one of the most popular in the Auckland Region, home to roughly a third of the country's population.  The Piha area is home to two surfing beaches as well as numerous semi-hidden coves.    

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot flumz fpv earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list with this fantastic mountain surfing video from the French Alps.  The video was filmed in Hautes-Alpes, one of the main departments of the French Alps region.  Starting at the :23 mark, there's a picture-perfect shot running along a partially snow-capped ridge heading into the sun, followed by series  of dramatic dives down nearly vertical cliffs in different seasons.  Further on you'll even fly through a mountain cave.   

Take a tour of Croatia in this excellent drone video by former Drone Video of the Week Finalist NTG Drone.  At the :07 mark, you'll see the walled medieval town of Dubrovnik, followed by shots of some islands along the Dalmatian coast.  At :40, you'll see the coastal town of Duće, just south of Split, followed by shots of the hilltop Starigrad fortress just immediately to the south in Omiš.  Other featured locations include the town of Rovinj on the Istrian Peninsula (1:39), the port of Hvar on its namesake island (1:48), and more.

Top AirVuz contributor scuervo.traveler brings us this fantastic drone video of the famous rock monasteries of Meteora in northern Greece.  Originally 24 monasteries were built beginning in the 14th century atop immense stone pillars in the region of Thessaly; six of these remain: the monasteries of Great Meteoron, Varlaam, Saint Nicholas Anapausas, Rousanou, Holy Trinity, and Saint Stephen. .  The area is considered second in importance only to the Holy Mountain of Athos in its importance to Eastern Orthodoxy.

This one-shot first person view (FPV) drone video of a famous church in Croatia was created by former DVOW Winner be_mesmerized.  It's called the Church of St. Euphemia, and it's located in the town of Rovinj on the Istrian Peninsula in the northern part of the country.  The church itself is a Baroque masterpiece that was built in the first half of the 18th century.  The adjoining bell tower, which was built about 75 years earlier, was designed to resemble the St. Mark's Basilica in Venice whih controlled Istria during this period.
