Let top contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot AlexCarboni FPV take you on a day and night FPV tour of the great city of Rome, Italy.  The opening shot will take you over the Fountain of the Four Rivers, from where you will head to the ancient Colosseum.  At about the :10 mark, you'll see the Spanish Steps, and at around :20 you'll see the VE II Monument.  At :53, you'll fly through the columns of the Pantheon, and at 1:00 you'll see Trevi Fountain.  Other featured locations include Capitoline Square (1:20) and more.

Contributor David L put together this impressive reel from northern Ohio, one of the most important states in the Midwestern USA.  The video incudes footage from the Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, roughly halfway between Toledo and Cleveland; Black River Landing in Lorain, just east of Sandusky; the town of  Vermilion, just west of Lorain; East Falls Riverwalk in Eyre, southeast of Lorain; Catawba Island on Lake Erie; Schoepfle Garden in Birmingham; Lakeview Park, in Lorain; Safari Outdoor Adventure Park, in Sandusky; and more.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner Nelstill brings us this excellent Fall drone video from Romania.  The video was filmed over the commune of Ghimeș-Făget, which lies in Bacău County.  While most of Bacău County lies in the northeastern region of Moldavia, Ghimeș-Făget is part of the historical region of Transylvania just to the west.  The town lies along the slopes of the Eastern Carpathian Mountains, which form the eastern boundary of Transylvania and prior to World War I the border between Romania and Austria Hungary.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist emrahkarakoc brings us this stunning drone reel from Turkey.  The video features footage from across the giant country, including Köprülü Canyon in the southern province of Antalya; the Munzur Valley, part of the Taurus Mountains in the northeastern province of Tunceli; Artabel Lakes Nature Park in the Black Sea (northern) province of Gümüşhane; Mt. Sebuh, in the eastern province of Erzinjan; the ancient city of Ephesus in the western province of İzmir; the southeastern city of Mardin; and more.  

Take an aerial tour of a historic town Tomar, Portugal, compliments of AirVuz contributor nunovalente.  Situated near the geographic center of the country, Tomar rose to prominence in the 12th century as a stronghold of the Knights Templar, one of the most important Christian military orders.  The video opens with shots of the Convent of Christ, the historic core of the town, which sits on a hill above the river and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.  From there, you'll head down to the town itself, which lies along the Tagus River.  

Take a tour of Pakistan's mountainous Gilgit Baltistan territory in this drone video by top contributor nayyar2006.  The video was mostly filmed from the Karakorum Highway, which runs roughly north from the Punjab province through GB and to the border with China.  You'll see the three great mountain ranges which converge here - the Himalaya, Karakorum, and Hindu Kush.  Specific featured locations include Attabad Lake (at the 1:15 mark), Mt. Tupopdan (aka Passu Cones) (1:47), Hopar Glacier and Valley (2:16), and Passu Glacier (3:50).  

Germany's Rötteln Castle is one of the most famous in Baden-Württemberg, the country's southwesternmost state.  Seen in this drone video by DanielDrone123, it's located near the city of Lörrach, close to the Swiss border.  Situated on a hill, the castle is believed to originally date to the 12th century.  The castle was heavily damaged in the Basel earthquake of 1356, the largest seismic event in Central Europe in recorded history.  It went on to play an important role in several historic conflicts, including the Thirty Years War.  

Former DVOW Winner sinaysky brings us this excellent drone video from St. Petersburg, Russia as the New Year approaches.  The video opens with a shot of a skating rink, with the gold-domed St. Isaac's Cathedral in the background.  At the :16 mark, you'll see Palace Square, the city's central public space, followed by a shot of the eastern tip of Vasilyievsky Island.  At :44, there's a shot across the Neva River of the Peter & Paul Fortress.  At 1:26, you'll see the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood.  

AirVuz contributor Nolan Reiff brings us this excellent drone video from "Amish Country" in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  The Amish is an Anabaptist church which orignated in Switzerland and France.  Closely related to the Mennonite denomination, Amish followers generally eschew modern conveniences and dress.  The perseverance and distinctiveness of their traditions, despite being located just a short distance from major (read: modern) cities, has turned the area into a major tour attraction.  

Former DVOW Finalist AndraSagui brings us this incredible drone videos from the Dolomite mountains in northeastern Italy.  Part of the Southern Limestone Alps, the Dolomites are spread across several provinces in the Trentino-Alto-Adigio and Veneto regions of the country.  Filmed in the Belluno province of Veneto, the video features shots of Mt. Pelmo, which has a summit altitude of 10.4k ft. above sea level (around 3.2k m) as well as the similar-height Mt. Civetta, whose northwest face is one of the most-recognized in the chain.

Top contributor nayyar2006 brings us this fantastic drone video from the mountains of northern Pakistan.  The video was filmed over the Lulusar National Park in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the northernmost territory of Pakistan.   The park is part of the Kaghan Valley (also called the Naran Valley, named after its principal town), which runs for close to 100 mi. (around 160 km) and is surrounded by mountains reaching as high as 17.4k ft. above sea level (around 5.3k m).  It's part of the Hazara region, in the northeastern part of the province.  

Check out this drone video of a well-preserved castle town in southwestern Germany, compliments of koenraad66.  Wertheim am Main is the northernmost town in the state of Baden-Württemberg.  It's strategically located near the point where the Tauber River joins the Main, the longest right-tributary of the Rhine.   The town grew in the shadow of the castle, which dates to the 7th or 8th century AD.  The video features great aerial footage of the castle and the town, which has a population of around 24k.

In this video by former Drone Video of the Week Winner Nico Lehr, you'll explore the Bernese Alps in the heart of Switzerland.  The video was filmed over the course of a two day hiking trip through some of the most beautiful alpine scenery in Europe with a (very lightweight) DJI Mini 3 drone.  The hike runs though the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the iconic Jungfrau Region of the Bernese Oberland, a highland area in the canton of Bern, a set of foothills on the northern side of the main slopes of the Bernese Alps.  

Top creator Clark Lupton brings us this spectacular reel featuring highlights from his (largely FPV)) drone filming work.  Projects featured include the Electronic Daisy Carnival EDM festival in Orlando, Florida and other high-profile outdoor music events.  Other highlights include a spectaular shot flying through the air intake on a Blue Angels F-18 jet at the :55 mark, a dolphin jumping out of the water just in front of a cruise ship (1:15), a shot of a music festival in front of Ford Field in downtown Detroit (1:45), and more.    

In this video, Shuttering Thru Life takes us on an aerial tour of Nashville, Tennessee.  The video opens with a shot from the standpoint of the Vanderbilt Unviversity campus looking northeast towards the downtown.  At the :38 mark, you'll see the Gateway Bridge in the foreground and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in the background.  At 1:05, there's a great shot of the skyline, with 333 Commerce (the city's tallest building) on the left.  Other featured locations include Union Station (2:10), Nissan Stadium (2:20), and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor Gizmo Drones brings us this excellent drone video of the Celebrity Edge cruise ship visiting Melbourne, Australia.  Launched in 2018, it's the lead vessel of Celebrity Cruise's Edge Class ships.  With a length of just over 1k ft. (306 m), the ship displaces just over 130k gross tons.  The ships are built by STX France at their shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.  It can carry up to just under 3k passengers, complemented by a maximum crew of about 1.3k, at a maximum speed of about 22 knots.  

Here's a nice aerial mini-tour of Rome, Italy, compliments of AirVuz contributor DK4Drone.  The video opens with some nice shots of the Tiber River, which winds its way through the city on route to its mouth on Italy's western coast.  At the :20 mark, there's a nice shot of Castel Sant'Angelo (aka Hadrian's Castle), which dates to the second century AD.  Starting at :30, there's a great "reveal" of St. Peters Basilica in Vatican City (just to the west of Hadrian's Castle), which was constructed in the 17th century.

Multiple DVOW Winner semberadventure takes us on an aerial tour of the Central American nation of Panama.  Filmed with a drone as well as a ground camera, the video displays the immense natural diversity of the country, which connects Central America to South America and has long coastlines on both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.  You'll see the mountains which run down the "spine" of Panama as well as rainforests, waterfalls, and the tropical San Blas Islands on the country's northern (Caribbean) coast.  

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of the Italian city of Taormina, compliments of AirVuz contributor pioandreaperi.  The ancient town lies on the western side of Sicily, facing the Italian mainland.  The video opens with a shot descending from the cliffs overlooking the city down toward the square at the center of the town.  At about the 1:18 mark, you'll fly over the Ancient theatre of Taormina, a Greek ruin which dates to the third century BC. The video ends with a flyover of the Norman castle perched above the city.  

Top AirVuz contributor Karem Hajoj was selected as the Winner of the Drone Video of the Week in December, 2024 with this excellent drone video from the Alps Mountains in the heart of Europe.  Filmed with a DJI Air 3 drone over the course of twelve months, the video will take you over some of the world's most spectacular alpine scenery.  It features shots from Bavaria (the southernmost German state), Austria, and Italy; along with France and Switzerland, these are the major countries on which the great mountains stand.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner T-christ-T brings us this magnificent video from the inland Chinese province of Sichuan.  The video was filmed in the western half of the massive territory, which is essentially split between a low-lying (and highly populated) Red Basin in the east and a sparsely populated western half, which is largely covered by mountain ranges that form the eastern side of the great Tibetan Plateau further to the west.  These peaks are collectively known as the Hengduan Mountains.  

Take in these nighttime aerial views of Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, compliments of Dang Cine.  At the :15, you'll circle the top of the Landmark 81 tower, the tallest in Vietnam and the second-tallest building in Southeast Asia as of 2024.  At :55, there's a great view of the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, festooned in gold for the holidays.  At 1:28, you'll see Independence Palace, the one-time residence of the President of South Vietnam.  Other highlights include the Ba Son Bridge (2:10), Mê Linh Square (3:18), and more.   

Take an aerial tour of Pakistan in this beautiful drone video from nayyar2006.  The video was filmed on a south-to-north tour of the country, and features the following locations: the Maakran Coastal Highway (at the :09 mark), Hingol National Park (:15), Kirthar National Park (1:06), the Great Wall of Sindh (1:14), the Naukot Fort (1:48), the Kot Diji Fort (1:56), the forts of the Cholistan Desert (2:17), Ayubia National Park (3:02), Lulusar-Dudipatsar National Park (3:14), various spots in Gilgit-Baltistan (3:47), and more.  

Explore the Algarve region of Portugal in this fantastic video by top AirVuz contributor timroosjen, which was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in December of 2024.  The southernmost region of mainland Portugal, the Algarve has become one of the top beach destinations in Europe.  It's known in part for its magnificent coastal cliffs and hidden sea caves, which are featured in abundance in the video.  Among the highlights are the Ponta da Piedade near Lagos, close to the southwestern corner of Portugal.   

Seen in this outstanding drone video by davetke2002, Vietnam's Bản Giốc is one of the world's most spectacular waterfalls.   Situated on the country's northern border with China on the Quây Sơn River in Cao Bằng province, it's actually a system of two waterfalls.  Called Detian on the Chinese side, its drop is a modest 98 ft. (30 m), but it's massively wide - almost 1k ft., or about 300 m.  Bản Giốc is considered one of the natural treasures of Southeast Asia.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 3 drone.  

Former DVOW Finalist Gizmo Drones brings us this excellent drone video from Melbourne, Australia.  At the :17 mark, there's a nice shot looking down the Yarra River, with the city's CBD on the right.  At :24, you'll see the distinctive white spire of the Arts Centre Melbourne, just south of the CBD.  At :31, you'll see St. Patrick's Cathedral, and at :41 you'll see the clock tower atop the Flinders Street Station.  Other featured locations include the Melbourne Sports and Entertainment Precinct (1:00), the Bolte Bridge (1:20), and more.  

In this first person view (FPV) drone video tour of Capitoline Hill in Rome, Italy by AlexCarboni FPV, you'll start at the great Monument to Victor Emmanuel II, which commemorates the unification of modern Italy in the 1870's.  At the :45 mark, in a single shot, you'll fly over to the neighboring Capitoline Square.  Here you'll see the three main buildings on the square: the Senatorial Palace (aka City Hall), the Palce of the Conservators, and the New Palace, as well as the Equestrian Statue of Marcus Aurelius.  

Top AirVuz contributor sinaysky brings us this amazing aerial tour from Montenegro's Kotor Bay.  The video opens with shots of the town of Kotor, which lies on the southern side of the "inner" bay.  Here you'll see the city's Old Town, including its 12th century cathedral, the Church of Our Lady of Remedy, and the massive fortress which sits above the city, which took its present form during the period of Venetian rule during the Middle Ages.  At about the 4:00 mark, you'll head to the town of Perast, near the northern end of the bay.   

BashirAbuShakra is, by any measure, one of the world's top aerial videographers, with a massive social media following and many awards to his name.  In this inspiring piece, which won the DVOW contest in December of 2024, demonstrates his trademark filming style, which frequently involves shots showing himself in settings which make us understand the immensity of nature.  The video ws filmed in some of the world's most spectacular locations, including Angel Falls in Venezuela, Mongolia's Gobi Desert, the Swiss Alps, and much more.  

AirVuz contributor JK Films Photo used a DJI Mavic Pro 3 to create this outstanding aerial tour of the Evrytania region of Greece.  Evrytania is part of Central Greece, one of Greece's 13 official administrative divisions.  Located close to the geographic center of the Greek mainland, Evrytania is almost completely covered by mountains, namely the Tymfristos and the Panaitoliko chains.  The region covers a land area of about 720 square mi. (around 1.8k square km) and has amongst the lowest population density of any region in the country. 

Top contributor NAVA returns to AirVuz after a multi-year hiatus with this excellent drone video of Peru's Rainbow Mountain.  Variously known as Vinicunca and the Mountain of Seven Colors, it's located in the Cusco region in the south-central part of the country.  Getting close to the mountain by car involves about a three hour drive from Cusco to the trailhead, followed by a roughly six hour strenuous hike to the lookout point.  The mountain has a summit elevation of about 16.5k ft. above sea level (around 5k m).  

Check out this fascinating video of an ancient gold mining area in Spain, compliments of AirVuz contributor pepeferreras.  It's called Las Médulas, and it's located in the Cantabrian Mountains in the Province of León, part of the northwestern region of Castile and León.  Beginning in the first century AD, under Roman rule, the landscape here was transformed by a gold extraction technique which used large quantities of water to undermine the formations.  Las Médulas became the largest open-pit gold mine in the Roman Empire.

Prepare to be blown away by this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone car chasing reel by former Drone Video of the Week Winner Lancelot.Tintignies.  The video opens with shots of some Formula 1 cars, which represent the pinnacle of the auto racing pyramid.  At the :17 mark, you'll see some racing on the Circuit Abbeville, a small track in northern France.  Starting at the :33 mark, there's a magnificent shot bearing down on a Ferrari as it works its way through a mountain pass, and at :45 there's some Red Bull off-road action.  

Top AirVuz contributor Gustavo Quiroga brings us the second installment of a series of drone videos from northwestern Argentina.  The video was filmed over Salta and Jujuy, the northwesternmost of the 23 provinces which make up this giant South American country.  The video includes footage from the Humahuaca Ravine in Jujoy, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site; Salinas Grandes, the fourth-largest salt flat in South America; and the beautiful town of Iruya, in the province of Salta.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner T-christ-T brings us this stunning drone video from Greenland, the world's largest island.  The video was filmed over and around Scoresby Sound (Kangertittivaq in Greenlandic), which is a large fjord system located about halfway down Greenland's long eastern coastline, well inside the Arctic Circle.  One of the largest and most extensive such systems in the world, the area around the sound is virtually uninhabited - the sole settlement in the region has a population of less than 500.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner www.oberschneider.com brings us this fantastic drone video of a well-known skier tackling a backcountry trek in the Austrian Alps.  Using the DJI Mavic 3 Cine, he was able to film skier Sandra Lahnsteiner cruising through fresh powdered snow at daybreak in some of Europe's most captivating alpine landscapes.  The video was filmed using all three of the different lenses built into the Mavic 3 Cine.  To make matters even more challenging, the ambient temperature was a chilly 9 degrees F (-13 C).  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Finalist timoksanen brings us this excellent wintertime drone video from Finland.  The video was filmed just after the first snow of the winter of 2024-5 near the town of Lieto, which is part of Western Finland Province in the southwestern part of the country.  It's only about ten mi. (around 15 km) northeast of Turku, the main city in southwestern Finland (and erstwhile capital prior to the current capital of Helsinki).  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 drone.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week/Month Winner T-christ-T put together this extremely thoughtful piece designed to tell the story of the earth's fragile balance.  The chosen video cuts were picked by his 12 year old daughter from footage he's collected in his travels around the world.   It consists primarily of drone footage, interspersed with some compelling ground camera and underwater shots.  Spanning multiple continents, it's a telling reminder of how the ongoing growth of "civilization" imperils some of our key eco-systems.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner Lucaputzer brings us this excellent drone video from the Indian Ocean island of Socotra.  Part of the nation of Yemen, Socotra lies near the southern entrance to the Gulf of Aden in the Arabian Sea, the northwestern inlet of the world's third-largest ocean.  While it's part of (Asian) Yemen, the island is actually closer to Somalia, and it's considered to be geographically part of Africa.  The island covers an area of about 1.4k square mi. or around 3.6k square km.  

Former DVOW Finalist nshabarkov brings us this excellent drone tour of Bulgaria.  The video opens with shots of the country's Black Sea coastline and its interior mountains. At the :27 mark, you'll see the Bada Vida Fortress, which is situated in the northwestern part of the country, followed by the Alyosha Monument in Plovdiv, near the center of the country.  Other highlights include the lighthouse of Shabla in the country's northeastern corner (1:17), the Black Sea fortress of Kaliakra (1:22), the Cathedral of Varna (1:32), and more.

AirVuz contributor pepeferreras brings us this excellent drone video from Spain's Costa Quebrada, a stretch of coastline on the Bay of Biscay in the northwestern region of Cantabria.  Like so much of Spain's Biscay coastline, Costa Quebrada is home to some of the most distinctive-looking coastal geology on the planet.   It's not precisely defined geographically, but it's basically the area on the north side of the peninsula on which the city of Santander sits, more or less due west of the regional capital.  

Contributor Jeremy Taktouk used a DJI Mavic Pro 3 Cine as well as an FPV drone to create this stunning travel video from Lanzarote, one of Spain's Canary Islands.  The easternmost of the main islands, Lanzarote lies just 80 mi. (around 125 km) off the coast of North Africa.  Like the other islands, Lanzarote is volcanic in origin, having arisen from the floor of the Atlantic ocean about 15 million years ago (very recently, in geological terms).  The video features shots both of Lanzarote's coastline as well as its mountainous interior.    

Top AirVuz contributor Lancelot Tintignies brings us this fantastic professional drone reel.  The reel opens with a series of outstanding FPV "chase" shots, including a stunning shot of a BMX rider hitting a jump at the :09 mark, followed by shots of snowboarders, a sailboat, longboarders, and a race car.  At :25, there's an incredible shot flying through an explosion, presumably filmed for a movie.  From :34 through :48 there are a series of "people" shots, and the video wraps with a series of shots of famous French landmarks.  

In this drone video by AirVuz contributor pepeferreras, you'll see the great Ebro Reservoir of northern Spain.  The video was filmed over and around the Playa de Arija, which is located on the southern side of the reservoir in the province of Burgos (part of the region of Castile and Leon), which was created in the mid-20th century to control flooding of the Ebro River and promote agriculture in the Ebro Valley.  The reservoir, which is fed by runoff from the Cantabrian Mountains, covers about 24 square miles (62 square km).  

Multiple DVOW Winner T-christ-T brings us this stunning drone video from western China.  The video was filmed over the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a massive territory which covers the entire northwestern portion of the country.  Xinjiang covers an area of about 642k square mi. (almost 1.7mm square km), including a key stretch of the historic Silk Road.  The video includes footage of the cities of Tekesi and Bagua, Sayram Lake, Karajun Prairie, the exotic Pamir Plateau, and the Tian Shan and Kunlun Mountains.  

Check out these magnificent first person view (FPV) drone views of France's Vosges Mountains, compliments of top AirVuz contributor BackMountainProd.  The mountains run a roughly north-south course along France's eastern border with Germany, in the Grand Est region.  Their highest peak, Grand Ballon, has a summit altitude of just under 4.7k ft. above sea level (around 1.4k m).  Filmed at sunrise, the video features excellent "setup" shots captured with a (gimbal-stabilized) DJI Mavic Pro 3 drone.  

In this drone video by AirVuz contributor Airviewstudio, you'll take an aerial tour through the Spanish province of Pontevedra, the southwesternmost of the four provinces of the Galicia region in the northwestern corner of the country.  Ponteverde is known in part for its waterfalls, which are formed by the drainage of the Galician highlands into the Atlantic Ocean to the west.  The video features footage from the following waterfalls: Parrelos, Casariños and De Roca. The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 drone. 

Check out this impressive "dronelapse" video from South Korea's Jeju Island, compliments of AirVuz contributor FSJR.  Located about 50 mi. (around 80 km) south of the southern tip of the Korean Peninsula in the Korean Strait (which connects the East China Sea, the Yellow Sea, and the Sea of Japan), Jeju is South Korea's largest island.  The video includes footage of the following locations, in order of appearance: Sangban Mountain, Seongsan Ilchulbong, Tokki Island, Jungmun Beach, and Singgyemul Park.

Brand-new contributor egor khitrov brings us this excellent drone video from the coalfields of Russia.  The video was filmed over a region known as the Romantsov Mountains in the Tula region, south of Moscow.  The "mountains" are actually the vestiges from extensive mining of lignite, a low-grade form of coal which, once fueld most of Russia's power plants.  While coal now accounts for only about 20% of Russian electric power, the prior mining activity has permanently altered the local landscape.  

Top contributor sinaysky brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone tour of the small Balkan nation of Montenegro.  Filmed during the Fall season, the video features footage from the following locations: the Bay of Kotor, an inlet of the Adriatic Sea at the northern end of the country's coastline; Mt. Durmitor, a peak of the Dinaric Alps in the northern part of the country; Prokletije, a subrange of the Dinaric Alps; Tara Bridge and Canyon, also in northern Montenegro; the northern town of Kolasin;  and Lake Biograd.

AirVuz contributor Purepicture_DM earned a spot as a DVOW Finalist with this excellent FPV drone tour of Armenia.  The video features footage of the following locations in this ancient land: the Temple of Garni (at the :22 mark), Khor Vap Monastery (:27), Jermuk Waterfall (:41), Smbataberd Fortress (:49), Sevanvank Monastery (:57), Noravank Monastery (1:09), the city of Gyumri (1:15), Azat Canyon (1:23), Amberd Fortress (1:33), Harichvank Monastery (1:50), Mt. Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner dronesantana007 brings us this stunning drone video of one of the great cultural treasures of Vietnam: the coastal city of Hội An.  Part of the central province of Quảng Nam, Hội An became one of the most important trading ports on the South China Sea from the 16th-18th centuries.  It's located on the estuary of the Thu Bồn River, less than 20 mi. (around 30 km) south of Da Nang, the principal city of the central part of Vietnam.  Since 1999, it's been a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Top AirVuz contributor T-christ-T brings us this magnificent drone video of the historic city of Harbin, China.  Harbin is the capital of Heilongjiang, China's northeasternmost province and part of the historic region of Manchuria.  Set on the banks of the Songhua River (a tributary of the Amur), Harbin is the center of a metropolitan area of over ten million, one of the dozen largest urban agglomerations in the country.  One of China's northernmost cities as well as one of its coldest, its nickname is the Ice City.    

Top AirVuz contributor be_mesmerized earned a spot as a DVOW Finalist with this fantastic drone video from Venezuela.  The "star" of the video, seen from the opening shot, is the famous Angel Falls.  Located in Canaima National Park in the eastern state of Bolivar, Angel Falls is the tallest uninterrupted waterfall in the world, with a total drop of 3.2k ft. (807 m).  The video also includes footage from other spots across the country, including the Canaima Mountains, the great plain of Los Llanos in north central Venezuela, and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor scuervo.traveler brings us this excellent drone video of a pair of spots in the Spanish capital of Madrid.  The first is the Puerta de Alcalá, which is adjacent to Independence Square and which was part of the Walls of Philip IV, a system which controlled access to the city between the 17th-19th centuries.  At the :20 mark, you'll head to Retiro Park, which is located on the eastern side of the historical heart of the city, and which covers 350 acres.  The park is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site.  

HamptonsDrone earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in November of 2024 with this spectacular drone video from the South Shore of Long Island, just east of New York City.  The video captures some of the amazing sea life which plies the waters off of the island's South Fork, on the stretch from Southampton to the fork's eastern tip at Montauk.  The sea life captured in the video includes humpback whales, spinner sharks, bottlenose dolphins, bluefin tuna, cownose rays, bluefish, and more.  

Top contributor rlardon created this spectacular drone video from Peru's Huayhuash Cordillera a subrange of the Andes Mountains.  The Huayhuash is home to some of the highest peaks in South America, with three peaks over 20k ft. (about 6.1k m) and another nearly two dozen between 18k-20k ft. (5.5k - 6.1k m).  The range sits in the  country's Ancash, Lima and Huánuco regions.  Its highest peak is Mt. Yerupajá, the second tallest mountain in Peru, which has a summit elevation of about 21.8k ft. above sea level (around 6.6k m).  

AirVuz contributor tobikmedia earned a spot as a DVOW Finalist for this fantastic early winter video from the Canadian province of Manitoba.  The video was filmed after the first snow in the Duck Mountains, a chain of forested hills in western Manitoba.  The Duck Mountains are part of the Manitoba Escarpment, a system of hills which run roughly along the border between Manitoba and its western neighbor, Saskatchewan.  They include Mt. Baldy, Manitoba's highest point, which has an altitude of just over 2.7k ft. (832 m) above sea level.

Top AirVuz contributor scuervo.traveler used a DJI Mavic Pro 3 to create this stunning video from Italy's Dolomite Mountains.  The video was filmed over the course of a 15 day hike through the range, which covers parts of several provinces in the Trentino-Alto-Adigio and Veneto regions in the northeastern part of the country.  At the :11 mark, you'll see Lake Braies, a small but famous lake in the South Tyrol province.  The video also features some spectacular shots (first seen at :18) of the famous three peaks of Tre Cime di Lavaredo.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner semberadventure brings us this stunning drone video of Costa Rica's Corcovado National Park.  One of the natural gems of this Central American country, the park covers an area of 164 square miles (424 square km) of the Osa Peninsula, a landform near the southern end of the country's long Pacific (western) coastline.   It's home to the largest ancient forest on the Pacific coast of the entire Western Hemisphere, as well to a number of endangered species such as the Baird's Tapir.  

Top AirVuz contributor T-christ-T earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot in November, 2024 with this fantastic drone video from the Alps Mountains.  The video was filmed over the course of several years and includes shots from virtually all of the countries in the Alps region:  Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland.  The Alps cut a swathe of about 750 mi. (around 1.3k km) across Europe, with peaks ranging up to just under 15.8k ft. above sea level (around 4.8k m).  

AirVuz contributor Atilano Trujillo earned a spot as a DVOW Finalist with this inspiring drone travel reel. The video features a stunning array of natural landscapes in a variety of locations around the world, including Iceland, the Dolomite Mountains in northeastern Italy, and Spain's Canary Islands.  Highlights include some spectacular shots of the coast of Tenerife (the largest of the Canaries), the glacial lagoons and roaring waterfalls of Iceland, and the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo three peak formation of the Dolomites.

Top AirVuz contributor Lucaputzer won the DVOW contest with this fantastic video from the mighty K2 Mountain in Pakistan.  Filmed with both a gimbal-stabilized drone as well as first person view (FPV) drone equipment, the video was filmed over the course of a 16 day trek to the camp at the base of the mountain.  With a summit elevation of a little over 28.2k ft. (8.6k m), K2 is the world's second-highest mountain after Mt. Everest.  Located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan's northernmost territory, it's part of the Karakoram Mountains.  

Top AirVuz contributor Kpax earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot in November, 2024 with this outstanding drone video from Italy's Monte Rosa, the second-tallest mountain in the Alps.  The video was filmed over the mountain's eastern face, which lies in the Piedmont and Aosta Valley regions of Italy.  Monte Rosa's summit has an elevation of 15.2k ft. above sea level (just over 4.2k m), second only to Mt. Blanc in France amongst the peaks of the Alps.  The video was filmed with a DJI Air 3 drone.  

Not for the faint of heart, this drone video by top AirVuz contributor Moka Films shows a highliner working his way between two massive cliffs in southern France.  The setting is the Cirque de l'Infernet, a series of cliffs in Herault, a department in the historic region of Occitania.  The length of the highline is about one km (around .6 mi.), and it is suspended about 300 m (around 1k ft.) above the valley below.  This video was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in November of 2024.  

Top contributor haussmannvisuals brings us this stunning travel video from Indonesia.  The video primarily consists of FPV drone footage, with "establishing" shots from a DJI Mavic Pro 3.  Some of the locations featured in the video include the Krakatoa volcano in the Sunda Strait between the islands of Java and Sumatra; the Tengger Caldera on Mt. Bromo in East Java; the Tumpak Sewu waterfall, also in East Java; the island of Padar, in the province of East Nusa Tenggara; Komodo National Park, just east of Padar; and more.    

Drone Video of the Week Winner scuervo.traveler brings us this outstanding drone video from the Dolomite Mountains in northeastern Italy.  The video was filmed during the course of a hike to the peak of Monte Cernera, one of the peaks in the province of Belluno (part of the region of Veneto).  Accessible via the Giau Pass, Monte Cernera has a summit elevation of just over 8.7k ft. above sea level (around 2.7k m).  The view from the peak affords views of neighboring mountains Pelmo, Nuvolau, and Avera, as well as the Tofan Group.

Top AirVuz contributor scuervo.traveler earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist with this excellent drone video from two of the lesser known islands of Spain's Canary Islands archipelago: La Palma and La Gomera.  La Palma is the northwesternmost of the principal eight islands of the Canaries.  Like its siblings, it is volcanic in origin, and its Cumbre Vieja volcanic ridge erupted as recently as 2021.  La Gomera, also located on the western side of the chain, is one of the smallest and least-populous of the main islands.

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner davetke2002 brings us this outstanding drone video from Vietnam's central coast.  The video opens with shots of the famous Lady Buddha statue in Da Nang, the principal city of the region and the fifth-largest in the country.  At the :21 mark, you'll see the nearby Linh Ung Pagoda, and at 1:02 you'll see a parasailer flying off Da Nang's main beach area.  At 1:30, you'll see Da Nang's Dragon Bridge, and at 2:48 you'll head south to see the historic city of Hội An, just south of Da Nang.  

Prepare to be amazed by this stunning first person view (FPV) drone diving video from one of the world's tallest skyscrapers, compliments of top AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Livyu FPV.  He was able to dive the 128 story Shanghai Tower, which has a roof height of just under 2.1k ft. (632 m).  When it was completed in 2015, it was the world's second-tallest building.  As of 2024, it's the world's third-tallest (surpassed only by Dubai's Burj Khalifa and Kuala Lumpur's Merdeka 118).  It's located in Shanghai's Pudong District.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist nshabarkov brings us this outstanding drone video from Vietnam.  The video was filmed in various locations in the central and northern part of this Southeast Asian country.  It opens with some beautiful shots of rice terraces.  At the :31 mark, there's a nice shot of two tiny islands, followed by a shot of hundreds of fishing boats lined up along a river.  You'll also be treated to some beautiful top-down shots of "basket" boats, soy sauce fermentation, and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor Arnaud Lesueur brings us this fantastic drone video from the French Alps.   Filmed at the height of the Fall season, the video will take you over some of the most stunning alpine scenery in Europe.  At the :52 mark, there's a magnificent first person view (FPV) drone shot flying through a trestle bridge and emerging over a crytal blue alpine lake.  The video was This video was picked both as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist as well as an FPV Pilots to Watch list pick.    

Check out this action-packed first person view (FPV) drone reel by Poland-based FPV_Aerials, which was picked both as a DVOW Finalist as well as an FPV Pilots to Watch weekly pick.  The reel features dozens of action sports oriented "chase" sequences, including kiteboarders, windsurfers, bikers, and parasailers.  Even more unusually, you'll be treated to some epic shots of a glider and a small helicopter.  Interspersed with the action shots are some amazing sequences involving a shipping port, a factory fly-through, and more.  

AirVuz contributoer Daniel Chong used a lightweight DJI Mini drone to create this beautiful aerial video from Italy's Dolomite Mountains, which are spread across several provinces in the northeastern part of the country.  At :44 you'll see the alpine Lake Braies (Pragser Wildsee) which lies in the province of South Tyrol (part of the Trentino-Alto-Adigio region).  Other shots will take you over some of the dramatic rock formations which make the Dolomites (part of the Southern Limestone Alps system) so visually distinctive.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Yasincncelik earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent FPV video from the Cappadocia region in central Turkey.  Famous for its "fairy tale" rock formations and the multitudes of hot-air balloons which fly over them, Cappadocia has also become something of a magnet for skilled and adventurous FPV pilots, who are able to capture the landscapes as well as the balloon-scapes with their fast and highly maneuverable flying cameras.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Finalist CG Films brings us this spectacular drone video from the Dolomite Mountains in northeastern Italy.  At the :27 mark you'll fly directly over a curving road through one of the Dolomite passes, and at :43 (and elsewhere) you'll see Lake Braies, a famous alpine lake which lies at the base of Mt. Seekofel in the province of South Tyrol.  At 1:12, you'll fly past a magnificent rock formation atop one of the mountains, and at 1:43 there's an even more dramatic shot looking down a snow-covered ridge.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor stevenmanolakis brings us this excellent drone video from Western Australia.  The video was filmed over the northern half of the coastline, which is far less densely populated than the southern portion around Perth, the capital of this vast state.  You'll see some of the most remote coastlines anywhere in the world outside of the Arctic, with footage of Shark Bay and the area around Broome, even further to the north.  This video was a DVOW Finalist pick.

Top contributor T-christ-T brings us this outstanding drone video from Italy's Dolomite Mountains.  Picked as a DVOW Finalist, the video was filmed over and around the formation known variously as Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Drei Zinnen, a three peak massif which forms the boundary between the provinces of South Tyrol and Belluno. The middle peak (Cima Grande) has an altitude of just over 9.8k ft. above sea level (3k m), while the two outer peaks (Cima Piccola and Cima Ovest) are 500 ft. (150 m) and 85 ft. (26 m) shorter, respectively.

Top AirVuz contributor and pilot Dang Cine brings us this beautiful drone video of the historic town of Hội An in central Vietnam.  Hội An is located just a short distance south of Da Nang, the primary city on the country's central coastline.  Part of the province of Quảng Nam, Hội An became one of the most important trading cities in Southeast Asia during the 18th century.  Its Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritate site, reflects a mix native Vietnamese, Japan, Chinese, and French influences. 

In this drone video by RobGroove, you'll get an aerial tour of the city of Corfu, one of the historical treasures of Greece.  The main city of its namesake island in the Ionian Sea west of the Greek mainland, Corfu dates to the Antiquity.  During the Middle Ages, it was one of the most important outposts of the Venetian Empire, which controlled much of the Ionian Sea.  Starting at about the :50 mark in the video, you'll see the city's Old Fortress, which played a key role in the centuries-long struggles against the Ottoman Empire.  

Top AirVuz contributor benhawkinslive brings us this fantastic drone video of England's Restormel Castle.  Built shortly after William the Conqueror's 11th century invasion of Britain, it's one of the four main castles erected to solidify Norman control of Cornwall, the southwesternmost region of the island.  Famous for its nearly circular shape, the castle fell into a semi-ruined state by the 16th century.  Although it was occupied for a short time during the English Civil War in the mid-1600's, it was subsequently re-abandoned.  

AirVuz contributor Danovski Air brings us this beautiful drone video of the seaside Bulgarian town of Carevo.  Also known as Tsarevo, the town is located on a cove near the southern end of Bulgaria's Black Sea coastline, about 45 mi. (70 km) southeast of Burgas.  Occupied since the Antiquity, the town was originally located on the southern side of the cove.  It was nearly destroyed by fire in 1882, following which it was rebuilt in its present location, on a peninsula of the northern side of the cove.  

AirVuz contributor Gustavo Quiroga earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist with this excellent video from the Andes Mountains in Argentina.  The area filmed is called Agua de los Tamarindos, and it's located on Route 13 near Uspallata in the northwestern state of Mendoza.  Filmed with a  DJI Mini 3 Pro and and a DJI Air 3 drone, the video captures an outcrop of the Choiyoi Group, a volcanic-sedimentary sequence which formed between 200-300 million years ago and which extends over to neighboring Chile.  

Enjoy these aerial views of Argentina, compliments of AirVuz contributor Lionel Cesaretti.  The video was filmed near the city of Chilecito in La Rioja, one of the provinces of northwestern Argentina, which borders Chile to the west and which is largely covered by the Andes Mountains and their foothills.  The city is located in a valley formed by two parallel sets of foothills: the Sierras de Velazco to the east, and the Sierras de Famatina to the west.  Chilecito was originally founded as a mining settlement.  

Top AirVuz contributor HamptonsDrone brings us this excellent drone video of historic Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on Long Island, New York.  Located in Southampton, on Long Island's South Shore, Shinnecock is believed to be the oldest incorporated golf club in the USA.  A founding member of the US Golf Association, it's hosted numerous high profie tournaments, including five US Opens as of 2024, most recently in 2018.  It's scheduled to host its sixth US Open in 2026.  Unusually, it admitted women members from its founding.    

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor Lionel Ceraretti brings us this excellent drone video from southern Argentina.  The video was filmed over the Valdés Peninsula, a prominent landform on the country's Atlantic coastline in Chubut, one of the provinces of Patagonian Argentina.  Connected by a narrow isthmus to the mainland, the peninsula occupies an area of about 1.4k square mi. (around 3.6k square km).  Home to a major nature reserve, the waters off the peninsula are an important breeding ground for southern right whales.  

Former DVOW Finalist nshabarkov brings us this outstanding drone video from Corfu, one of the Greek islands in the Ionian Sea west of the Greek mainland.  The video opens with shots of Kassiopi, a fishing village on the island's northern coast, followed by the mountain village of Sokraki, also in northern Corfu.  At the :23 mark, you'll see the Monastery of Palaiokastritsa, on the western side of the island, followed by the white cliffs of Cape Drastis, in the northwest.  Other highlights include the Angelokastro Castle (1:10).

Top AirVuz contributor Gustavo Quiroga earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this fantastic aerial video from mountains of Argentina.  The video was filmed on Argentina Flag Day over a pair of spots in the state of Mendoza, which lies about halfway down the country's western border with Chile.  The first is the Potrerillos District of the Luján de Cuyo Department, which is located a bit to the south of Mendoza's (eponymous) state capital.  The second is the Uspallata District of the Las Heras Department, a bit to the north of the capital.
