The video features the Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park, which houses the palaces of the Sui and Tang dynasties that reigned over much of modern-day china from the 7th-10th centuries AD and which in represented in many ways the high point of Chinese culture and power. Luoyang is an interior city near the confluence of the Yellow and Luo Rivers in the province of Henan.

The Ziwei Palace was part of a vast imperial palace complex during the Sui and Tang dynasties, the thousand-year-old capital.

Built in Luoyang, it was six times the size of the Forbidden City and 1 million square meters larger than the Daming Palace, and became a model for future palace architecture.
