Check out this fantastic aerial tour of the great city of Singapore, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Gizmo Drones.  The video opens with a great shot of the Marina Bay Sands, the giant resort-casino which opened in 2010 and is already the city's most-recognized landmark.  At the :07 mark, there's a nice shot looking west over Marina Bay towards the city's core skyscraper cluste.  At :24 you'll see the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay (also on Marina Bay, and at 1:05 you'll see the Singapore Flyer Ferris wheel.

This video is about Singapore. It is an awesome modern and clean city, easy to get around with underground trains and low cost taxis. There are lots of air conditioned shopping centers with delicious food and incredible shopping. I was here for work and although it was cloudy almost the whole time, I can assure you that it was very hot and humid. I hope you don't mind the epic music; it is an awesome city and my first flight here. Thanks for watching, Brett - Gizmo Drones

Flying in Singapore:The rules for flying drones in Singapore is different to most other countries as the maximum allowable height is 60m and there are only a few places you can fly. However I was able to capture the city, Marina Bay Sands (looks like a ship), Gardens by The Bay (from a distance) and Singapore Flyer (Ferris Wheel).  I saw 2 other people flying drones and like me, they flew sub-250g DJI drones. I studied the rules and used the local drone app call OneMap to work out where I can fly and until what time. As you can imagine I was very careful to fly safely and within the rules.
