Sydney Skyline at Sunrise 2025

At the :18 mark, a single shot captures two of the city's greatest landmarks: the Opera House (foreground) and the Harbor Bridge (background). At :389, you'll get a nice view looking southwest towards the city's skyline from a spot roughly over the Opera House, and at :50 you'll see the Government House just south of the Opera House. Other highlights include Darling Harbor (1:58), the W Hotel (2:27), and more.

I was in Sydney last week and got up early to safely grab these sunrise shots of the Sydney skyline before the city awoke. The first morning had a colourful sunrise and the second morning had some mist over the city. The city and the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbour all looked amazing in the Autumn sun. I thought I would try the new DJI Flip 249g micro drone.
