P&O Pacific Explorer cruise ship visits Sydney

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Check out this magnificent drone video of a cruise shipped docked in the port of Sydney, Australia, compliments of top AirVuz contributor Gizmo Drones.  The ship is the Pacific Explorer, which is operated by the P&O Cruises Australia line (a subsidiary of Carnival Cruises).  The Pacific Explorer is one of four (4) Sun class ship built by the Italian company Fincantieri in the late 1990's.  The 856 ft. long (261 m) ship displaces just over 77k gross tons and can carry just under 2k passengers in addition to about 920 crew members.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

The P&O cruise ship Pacific Explorer visited Sydney last Friday and I was lucky to be in the area that morning and again later that day as it was leaving Sydney on this overcast day. I avoided flying over the harbour since it is off limits to drones and I kept my drone away from people. So most of the shots are from a distance but I hope you still enjoy seeing the historic "The Rocks" area, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour and of course the Pacific Explorer.

It is great to see cruise ships returning to cities. The last time I filmed a cruise ship was early 2020 (see my old videos).

I hope you like this video and thanks for watching, Brett - Gizmo Drones
