Drone Views of Colleges and Universities

College and university campuses make for great aerial views; indeed, usually the best way to visualize the layout of a large campus is by drone.  The AirVuz editorial team has assembled this compilation video showing footage from some of the top college and university campuses in the USA.  Some of the schools featured include Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts; Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut; Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey; the University of Chicago; Stanford University, and more.  

Harvard University is the USA's oldest institution of higher learning and is generally regarded as the world's most prestigious.  Its main campus is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, just west of Boston.  Founded in 1636, Harvard's enrollment of about 22k is roughly 30% undergraduate.  In recent decades, much of the growth of campus has been on the far (southern) bank of the Charles River, in the Allston neighborhood of Boston.  Check out the famous campus from above in this drone video by pilgrimdroner.   

Contributor Vicvideopic created this amazing drone video of what is perhaps the world's most famous university town: Oxford, England.  It's the home of Oxford University, which dates to the 11th century AD and is the world's second-oldest institution of higher learning.  Comprised of 38 individual colleges, Oxford is amongst the 4-5 most well-regarded universities in the world.  The video captures footage of this beautiful campus scene, located about 80 km (around 50 mi.) west of London.  

Contributor and drone pilot Chris Bonanno used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 to shoot this aerial video of the campus of Princeton University in New Jersey.  Located roughly midway between New York and Philadelphia, Princeton was founded by Presbyterians in 1746 and is a proud member of the Ivy League.  In recent years, Princeton has dominated the  US News annual ranking of national universities, appearing #1 18 times in 20 years.  The campus was immortalized in alumnus F. Scott Fitzgerald's debut novel, This Side of Paradise (1920). 

Check out this drone video of the Yale University campus in New Haven, Connecticut, compliments of contributor and pilot pilgrimdroner.  Founded in 1701, Yale is the USA's third-oldest institution of higher learning.  Originally affiliated with the Congregationalist Church, it moved beyond its original undergraduate focus beginning in the mid-1800's and awarded the first PhD in the USA in 1861.  Its enrollment of about 13.4k is a bit over 50% graduate and professional school students.  

Caldroneflyer brings us an aerial look at one of the world's most famous universities.  Stanford University is in Palo Alto, California, about 45 minutes south of San Francisco.  It was founded in 1891 by railroad magnate Leland Stanford.  While considerably younger than most of its  East Coast competitors, it is nonetheless considered one of the top half-dozen research universities in the world.  Watch the video to get bird's views of Hoover Tower, the Quad, and other sights on its 8k acre campus.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, or "MIT" for short, is one of the world's top science and engineering universities.  Founded in 1861 as an institution devoted to the advancement of technological progress, it's situated across the Charles River from Boston in the town of Cambridge, just a km/mi. downriver from the Harvard University campus.  In this drone video by contributor Chris Bonano, you'll get a bird's eye view of the MIT campus.  The video was shot with a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone.  

Former DVOW Finalist la.drones brings us this magnificent drone video from the campus of the University of California, Berkeley.  The video opens with some great shots of Sathers Tower, the world's third-highest clock tower.  At around the :40 mark, you'll see the California Memorial Stadium, home of the California Bears NCAA Men's Football team.  Located in the hills above Oakland, California (on the eastern side of San Francisco Bay), Cal Berkeley is the flagship of the UC system and one of the world's top research institutions.  

Check out this drone video of Williams College by contributor Chris Bonano.  Founded in 1793, Williams is located in Williamstown, in the northwestern corner of Massachusetts.  Among other distinctions, it's the state's second-oldest college, after Harvard.  In recent years, Williams has dominated the highly influential US News & World Report annual rankings of the USA's colleges: in 2019, Williams was ranked as the #1 school in the liberal arts college category for the 17th consecutive year.  

The California Institute of Technology (known informally as Caltech) is one of the world's most well-regarded research universities. It's situated in Pasadena, northeast of downtown Los Angeles.  As of late 2018, the school's alumni and faculty include an incredible 73 Nobel laureates.  While Caltech has historically kept a fairly low profile, its appearance on the hit comedy Big Bang TV series has elevated awareness of the school.  You can see the Caltech campus from above in this video by Mavictraveler.   

Contributor Chris Bonano used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to create this mini-aerial tour of Columbia University in New York City.  The university was founded in 1754 as King's College.  A member of the Ivy League, Columbia is considered one of the top 8-10 research universities in the USA, and its professional schools are amongst the best in their respective fields.  With a total enrollment of about 33k (of whom about 25% are undergraduates), its campus is located just north of Central Park on the West Side of Manhattan.    

Situated in south-central Massachusetts, Amherst College is generally considered one of the top liberal arts colleges in the USA.  Founded in 1821, it's the third-oldest college in the state, after Harvard and Williams.  In recent years, Amherst has generally appeared in the #2 or #3 spot in the liberal arts college category of the annual (and widely respected) US News & World Report college rankings.  You can check out the Amherst campus from above in this drone video by Chris Bonanno.

Check out this drone video of the University of Chicago campus by contributor mavictraveler.  Situated about 8 km (around 5 mi) south of the Chicago Loop on Lake Michigan, the UofC is one of the world's most prestigious research universities.  Founded in 1890 with a grant by Standard Oil titan John D. Rockefeller, the school ranked #5 amongst national universities in the 2019 US News & World Report college rankings.  Its enrollment of about 16.4k students is roughly 40% undergraduate.  

Chris Bonanno created this drone video of the University of Pennsylvania, one of the group eight elite colleges known as the Ivy League.  Situated across the Schuylkill River from downtown Philadelphia, Penn's current enrollment is about 21.6k students, of which a bit less than half are undergraduates.  Ranked #8 among national universities in the 2019 US News & World Report survey,  the school is especially well known for its graduate programs; its Wharton School was the first post-graduate business school.  

Among the reasons for Chicago's success as a city are its two world-class universities: Northwestern University and the University of Chicago.  In this drone video by mavictraveler, you'll get a bird's eye view of the Northwestern campus in Evanston, about 20 km (12 miles) north of downtown.  Founded in 1851, the private research university has an enrollment of about 21k, about 40% of whom are undergraduate.  It ranked #10 amongst national universities in the 2019 US News & World Report college rankings.  

Here's a drone's eye view of prestigious Dartmouth College, compliments of pilgrimdroner.  Founded in 1769, it's one of a group of schools once known as the Colonial Colleges and now known (with a few changes) as the Ivy League.  Located in Hanover, New Hampshire, Dartmouth is the most undergraduate-focused of the Ivies; its enrollment of about 6.4k is roughly 65% undergraduate.  In the 2019 US News & World Report college survey, Dartmouth ranked #12 amongst the national universities.     

Here's an aerial view of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, compliments of Blaze.  Founded in 1764, it's the seventh-oldest institution of higher learning in the USA and a member of the Ivy League.  While the school's roots are tied to the American Baptist Church, it was the first college to remove religious affiliation as criteria for admission.  Sitting on a 143 acre campus east of downtown Providence, Brown currently has a student body of about 10.3k, of which roughly 70% are undergraduate.  

Wellesley College is an all-women's liberal arts college based in suburban Boston, Massachusetts.  It's one of the Seven Sisters, a prestigious group of women's colleges founded in the 19th century.  In the 2019, US News & World Report college rankings, Wellesley was tied for third amongst the liberal arts schools.  The Wellesley campus was the setting and filming location for the 2003  romance movie Mona Lisa Smile starring Julia Roberts.  Check out Wellesley from above in this drone video by pilgrimdroner.    

Carleton College is a private liberal arts college located in Northfield, Minnesota, about a 45 minute drive south of the Twin Cities.  It is sometimes called the "Harvard of the Midwest", and for good reason - in the highly respected US News & World Report college rankings, Carleton was tied for the #5 spot amongst the liberal arts schools in 2019. Contributor mavictraveler used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to create this aerial tour of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  Founded in 1853, the university's main campus is located in the heart of the city.  Its current enrollment is about 15k, with about half undergraduates and the balance spread amongst various graduate and professional schools.  Wash U is considered one of the country's top schools: in the 2019 US News & World Report annual college rankings, it ranked #19 among the national universities. 

Haverford College is one of the USA's top private liberal arts schools; in 2019, it was tied for the #11 spot in the US News & World Report annual rankings for undergraduate-oriented liberal arts colleges.  The school is located in the town of the same name in the heart of the Main Line suburban area northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The college was founded in 1833 by a Quaker group, althoyugh Haverford no longer has any religious affiliation.  Its student body numbers about 1,350.  

Founded in 1871, Smith College in central Massachusetts is a member of the Seven Sisters group of elite New England women's' colleges. In 2018, Smith was ranked #11 in the US News & World Report liberal arts college survey. Smith's Northampton campus can be seen from above in this drone video by pilgrimdroner.  It was, famously, the primary filming location for the movie adaptation of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe", starring the great (on-off) Hollywood power couple of Liz Taylor and Richard Burton.   

Tufts University is one of the USA's most selective; in recent years, fewer than one in six undergraduate applications has been accepted.  Founded in 1852, its campus sits atop a hill on the border between Medford and Somerville, two Boston suburbs.  Its enrollment of about 11.5k is split roughly evenly between its undergraduate programs and its graduate and professional schools, including the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. While Los Angeles is too big to be considered a "college town", it would be hard to overstate the importance of its post-secondary institutions.  Among the most prominent of these is the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), which is located in the Westwood neighborhood on LA's West Side.  The school has an enrollment of about 45,000, over half of which is in the university's graduate and professional schools.  In this drone video by caldroneflyer, you'll get a bird's eye view of the UCLA campus.  

Connecticut's Wesleyan University is one of the most prestigious colleges in the USA.  It's commonly associated with Amherst and Williams Colleges as the Little Three, a sort of undergraduate-focused parallel to Harvard/Yale/Princeton.   The college was founded in 1831 in Middletown as a Methodist alternative to Yale.  In this video by pilgrimdroner, you can see the campus of Wesleyan, which was ranked #18 amongst liberal arts colleges in the 2019 US News & World Report survey.  

Lone Star Drones created this nice aerial view of Rice University in Houston, Texas.  Founded in 1912, the private school is generally considered the most prestigious in the Lone Star State.  In the 2020 edition of the US News and World Report college rankings, Rice was tied for #17 with the Ivy League Cornell University in the National Universities ranking.  Located on a campus near Houston's Medical Center neighborhood, Rice's enrollment of just over 7k students is about 55% undergraduate.  

One of the less heralded factors behind the vitality of Los Angeles is its base of high quality colleges and universities.  One of the largest and best known is the University of Southern California (USC), which is situated just to the southwest of downtown LA.  Its enrollment of over 45,000 is roughly 60% graduate and professional school students.  It's also known for its highly regarded film school as well as its powerhouse football program.  Check it out from above in this drone video by mavictraveler.  

Check out this drone video of Mt. Holyoke college in central Massachusetts, compliments of contributor pilgrimdroner.  Founded in 1839, Mt. Holyoke is the oldest of the Seven Sisters group of colleges that emerged as a women's college version of the Ivy League before the dawn of co-education.  Its main campus is in South Hadley, Massachusetts, about two hours west of Boston and just a short drive south of Amherst.  Mt. Holyoke's student enrollment of about 2.2k is virtually 100% undergraduate.  

Gopherdrone created this aerial video of Pittsburgh's Carnegie-Mellon University.  The university was formed in 1967 when the Carnegie Institute of Technology merged with the Mellon Institute of Industrial Research, in effect uniting the city's two most famous families in a single institution.  Considered one of the top 10-15 research universities in the USA, the school has enrollment of about 14,000 across seven schools.  It's located about 5 km (3 mi.) east of downtown Pittsburgh.  

Contributor Patrick_Nye used a drone to create this bird's eye tour of the University of Texas at Austin, the main campus of the UT system and one of the largest in the world.  The campus is visually dominated by its nearly 100 meter (about 300 ft.) Main Building.  Known as The Tower, it was the site of one of the earliest instances of a mass shooting in the USA: in 1966, an ex-marine sniper perched on the observation deck shot 16 bystanders to death and injured dozens more before being killed by police.

University campus buildings are often beautiful but they seldom dominate the landscape with their height.  Not so the Main Building of Moscow State University, in the Russian capital city.  Its construction was directed by Joseph Stalin, who died the same year that the building was completed - 1953.  With a rooftop height of just over 180 meters (just under 600 ft.), it's the tallest educational building in the world.  Here it is via drone, compliments of contributor and drone pilot Teckatlipoka.

Here's an aerial view of Trinity College in Connecticut, compliments of drone pilot pilgrimdroner.  Originally founded in 1823 as an episcopalian alternative to Yale, the current campus dates to 1872, and is about 2 km (a mile) from downtown Hartford.  Its current enrollment of about 2.5k is virtually all undergraduate.  A member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference, Trinity ranked #46 amongst national liberal arts colleges in the most recent US News & World Report survey.

Brandeis University is one of the newer institutions of higher learning in the Boston area.  It's located in the town of Waltham, about 20 km (around 12 mi.) west of downtown.  Brandeis was founded in 1948 as a non-sectarian institution with close ties to Boston's Jewish community.  Named after US Supreme Court justice Louis Brandeis (the first Jewish justice), the school's enrollment of about 5.7k is roughly 65% undergraduate.  Get a bird's eye view of the Brandeis campus in this drone video by pilgrimdroner.    

Clark Lupton brings us this excellent drone video of Wake Forest University, one of the top universities in the Southeastern USA.  Founded in 1834, WFU moved from its namesake town north of Raleigh, North Carolina to its current location in Winston-Salem in 1956.  Its current enrollment of about 8.5k is roughly 40% graduate and professional schools.  Its undergraduate program admitted fewer than 30% of applications for the 2019-20 academic year, and was ranked #27 amongst national universities in the 2019 US News and World Report survey.  

Boston University is the largest of the post-secondary schools in Boston, a city known in part for its world-famous colleges and universities.  Founded in 1839, BU has a historical affiliation with the Methodist church but is now secular.  The university's main campus is in the Fenway-Kenmore and Allston neighborhoods, along the Charles River.  Its current enrollment of about 34k is a bit less than 50% undergraduate.  You can check out BU from above in this drone video by content creator pilgrimdroner.  

Check out this drone video of the flagship campus of the University of Illinois, compliments of Nick McGee.  It's located in the "twin cities" of Champaign and Urbana, about 220 km (around 135 mi.) south of Chicago.  Founded in 1837, the UofI is considered one of the Midwest's top research universities.  Home of the USA's second-largest university library, the school is closely associated with the birth of the modern internet in the 1990's.   Its Fighting Illini teams are an athletic powerhouse in the Big Ten conference.  

Boston College is one of the most prominent schools in Boston, and its largest affiliated with the Roman Catholic church.  Not to be confused with its great crosstown rival Boston University, the Jesuit-sponsored BC is located in Chestnut Hill, about 10 km (around 6 mi) west of central Boston.  Founded in 1863, its enrollment of about 14.4k is roughly two-thirds undergraduate.  Contributor pilgrimdroner created this aerial view of the BC campus, considered one of the USA's most idyllic.  

Here's a bird's eye view of the University of California, Santa Barbara by contributor and drone pilot caldroneflyer.  The university was founded as a teachers college in 1891 and joined the University of California system in 1940.  It's the third oldest member of the system, after UC Berkley and UCLA.  Located just north of the city of Santa Barbara, about a two hour drive north of Los Angeles, UCSB ranked #30 in the most recent US News & World Report ranking of the USA's top universities.  

Gopherdrone created this aerial tour of the main campus of the University of Minnesota, located on both banks of the Mississippi River east of downtown Minneapolis.  The U of M is a major research institution, and with enrollment of over 50k it's one of the half-dozen biggest campuses in the USA.  The video includes footage from both the East Bank (such as the main athletic facilities, Walter Library, Scholar's Walk, and Coffman Union) and the West Bank (such as the Carlson School of Management).  

Wuhan University is one of China's oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher learning.  Founded in 1893, it's located in the heart of the capital city of Hubei, an interior province which is part of the historical region known as Central China.  Consistently ranked amongst the country's top half-dozen schools, WHU has an academic staff of over 7k and an enrolled student body of just under 60k.  Seen here in this drone video by new contributor how.chou, its campus is often considered China's most beautiful.  

Contributor Chris Bonanno used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to create this aerial tour of Villanova University in eastern Pennsylvania.  Founded in 1842, the private university is located in the eponymously named town, which is one of the Main Line suburbs northwest of downtown Philadelphia.  The university's enrollment is about 11,000, around 2/3 of which is undergraduate.  The school was recently ranked amongst the top 50 national universities in the US News & World Report annual college rankings.  

The largely successful transition of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the post-industrial economy has come about in no small measure because of its universities.  The largest and oldest of these is the University of Pittsburgh.  Founded in 1787, its current enrollment is over 28,000.  Gopherdrone created this drone video of the Pitt campus in the city's Oakland neighborhood, including its Gothic Revival style Cathedral of Learning - the tallest educational building in the Western Hemisphere. 

Founded in 1874, Macalester College is a private college in St. Paul, Minnesota.  With a student body of around 2,000 (about a quarter of whom are generally foreign citizens), it's considered one of the top liberal arts colleges in the Midwest.  Its alumni ranks include former Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee Walter F. Mondale.  Contributor dave drones created this drone video of Macalaster's picturesque campus, which is  located near the intersections of Snelling and Grand Avenues.  

Check out this drone video of the University of Denver, compliments of contributor Blaze.  DU is the oldest private university in the USA's Rocky Mountain region: it was founded in 1864, more than a decade before Colorado achieved statehood.  Located a few minutes south of downtown, the DU campus is home to some of Denver's most historic buildings.  The university had total enrollment of about 11.6k students as of 2019, split roughly evenly between its undergraduate and graduate/professional programs.    

JOPProductions created this aerial tour of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the flagship of the University of Louisiana system.  Lafayette lies near the center of the lower part of Louisiana, and is the state's fourth largest city.  UL Lafayette was founded in 1898, originally as an industrial school rather than a four year undergraduate institution.  It's one of nine campuses of the University of Louisiana system.  The school's enrollment is around 20,000, of which about 10% are graduate students.  

Hong Kong Polytechnic is one of the largest and most well-known universities in Hong Kong.  Seen here in this drone video by JN Drone, the university is situated in the Hung Hom neighborhood of the Kowloon City District, north of the island of Hong Kong.  Established in the 1930's, the school was granted university status in 1994.  Its enrollment currently stands at about 27k students. Sometimes known as PolyU, the school maintains over 200 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.     

The University of California, Santa Cruz is one of the ten members of the University of California system.  It's located in the town of Santa Cruz on the Monterey Peninsula, about an hour and half drive south of San Francisco.  In 2019, UCSC ranked #70 in the US News & World Report ranking of the top national universities in the USA.  It's one of the newer campuses in the UC system, having been founded in 1965.  In this drone video by caldroneflyer, you'll get a drone's eye view of the beautiful UCSC campus.  

Check out this fantastic drone video of Europe's largest university devoted to business and economics, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Winner smakozawr.  He aerially filmed the new campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, which was built in the early 2010's on a site on the left bank of the Danube River, just downriver from central Vienna.  Founded in 1898 to foster the creation of a professional business class in what was then Austria-Hungary,  the university has an enrollment of about 24k students.  

AirVuz contributor Chrisky brings us this outstanding aerial tour of the campus of Yonsei University in Incheon, South Korea.  With campuses in both Incheon and nearby Seoul, Yonsei is one of the three SKY Universities, along with Seoul National University and Korea University; these are considered to be the three most prestigious post-secondary institutions in the country.  Yonsei was established in 1957 via the union of Yonhi College and Severance Union Medical College.  It currently maintains total enrollment of about 38k studends.

The University of Colorado's flagship campus is in Boulder, an outer suburb Denver.  Founded in 1876, the school currently has about 33k students enrolled, of which about 80% are undergraduate.  The school's athletic teams play as the Colorado Buffalos, which competes in the PAC-10 league of the NCAA.  UC's beautiful campus south of the Pearl Street Mall has turned Boulder into one of the USA's most idyllic college towns.  Check out the UC-Boulder campus from above in this drone video by Blaze.  

Contributor Tarcy_Vision gives us this awesome aerial view of Temple University in the Mid-Atlantic city of Philadelphia.  Founded in 1884, it's one of the largest universities in Pennsylvania.  It's located in a neighborhood of North Philadelphia, more or less equidistant from the Delaware and Schuylkill Rivers.  Its extensive professional schools graduate a large number of lawyers, pharmacists, engineers, and other professionals, many of whom find jobs in the Philadelphia area.  

Contributor Will_and_Blake used a DJI Inspire drone to create this incredible epic aerial tour of the University of Kansas at Lawrence.  The flagship campus of the University of Kansas system, the university (including its two satellite campuses) had enrollment of just under 30,000 students as of the Fall of 2018.  In addition to being a major research university, KU-Lawrence is an athletic powerhouse; among numerous other honors, it's won three NCAA men's basketball championships.

Contributor Chris Bonanno used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 to create this aerial tour of the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus.  Sometimes referred to simply as UMass, its the main campus of the University of Massachusetts system.  Situated in the town of Amherst about two hours west of Boston, the university has a student body of about 30k spread across nine schools.  In the 2019 US News & World Report college rankings, UMass was ranked #70 for all national universities and #26 for public schools.  

Check out this drone video of the main University of Houston campus, compliments of contributor and pilot Lone Star Drones.  UH is the third-largest of the public universities in Texas, after University of Texas - Austin and Texas A&M University.  Situated southeast of downtown Houston, the school's student body numbers a bit over 42k, of whom roughly 80% are undergraduate.   Founded in 1927 as a junior college, UH is an athletic powerhouse, competing in the American Athletic Conference.

Take a mini aerial tour of Florida State University in this excellent drone video by new contributor Rjay2.  FSU is located in the state capital city of Tallahassee, on the "Panhandle".  Founded in 1851, it's Florida's oldest institute of higher learning.  Its enrollment of slightly over 40k students is roughly 80% undergraduate, with the balance spread over numerous graduate and professional school programs.  The university's Seminole athletic program is a perennial powerhouse in the NCAA Division I Atlantic Athletic Conference.  

Xiamen University is a top post-secondary educational institution in Southeastern China.  It's located at the south end of Xiamen Island, in the Fujian Province.   Established in 1921, the school currently enrolls about 21k students.  It's one of 36 universities classified as "Double A" under the central government's Double First-Class initiative to create a world-class secondary education system.  Seen here in this drone video by how.chou, the university's beautiful campus is a popular tourist attraction on the island.  

Take an aerial tour of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in this excellent drone video. The school was founded in 1831 and is one of the USA's oldest Jesuit universities.  Originally situated in downtown Cincinnati, in the early 20th century it moved to its current campus in the northeastern district of Norwood.  Xavier's enrollment of about 7k students is roughly 70% undergraduate.  Ranked 8th among Midwestern colleges in the 2019 US News & World Report survey, its Musketeers play in the NCAA Big East Athletic Conference.

Like its rival Carleton College, St. Olaf is located in the town of Northfield, Minnesota, about 45 miles south of the Twin Cities.  Founded in 1874, it's affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, one of the branches of mainstream Lutheranism.  It's considered one of the top undergraduate-focused schools in the Midwest; in 2019, St. Olaf was ranked #61 in the US News & World Report ranking of the USA's liberal arts colleges.  You can check it out from above in this drone video by gopherdrone.  

Contributor mavictraveler used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 to create this aerial tour of the University of Missouri's flagship campus.  With enrollment of just over 30k, it's located in Columbia, near the middle of the state.  Sometimes called Mizzou, it's home to the Missouri School of Journalism, one of the best-regarded journalism schools in the USA.  The campus was the setting for John Williams' 1965 novel Stoner, widely considered to be one of the greatest works of fiction depicting academic life.  

On this episode of Droning America host Angie Avestruz and the team travel to one of the ultimate USA college towns: South Bend, Indiana, aka the home of Notre Dame University.  Angie tours the town with former UND football team quarterback, Evan Sharpley. Highlights include a stroll around the UND quad where they check out the Main Building (aka the Golden Dome!), the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes and the Touchdown Jesus at the UND stadium. Founded in 1842, UND is considered one of the USA's top universities.
