Landmarks
Human activity has permanently changed the way that the world looks. While some may argue that this has been for the worst, few would dispute that many of the world's most beautiful sites (think famous churches and iconic lighthouses) are human made. And while the appeal of more modern landmarks like towering skyscrapers and massive hydroelectric dams may be less universal, it remains the case that these are some of the most recognizable and visually stimulating (if not always appealing) sights. Whatever one's judgment about these landmarks, it's very often the case that the best way to see what they look like is from the air, captured by drone. That's why we've taken the thousands of drone videos of these human-made sights and organized the best of them into these "Landmark" collections, ranging from some of the world's most ancient ruins and famous churches to its greatest seaports. If your interests run more along geographic lines, you will also find many of these same videos in our Countries, Continents & Regions, and our Cities collections. If your taste runs more to natural "landmarks" like waterfalls and volcanoes, you will find those videos organized in our Nature collections.
