Here's a bird's eye view of the University of California, Santa Barbara by contributor and drone pilot caldroneflyer.  The university was founded as a teachers college in 1891 and joined the University of California system in 1940.  It's the third oldest member of the system, after UC Berkley and UCLA.  Located just north of the city of Santa Barbara, about a two hour drive north of Los Angeles, UCSB ranked #30 in the most recent US News & World Report ranking of the USA's top universities.
