AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : By most accounts, the University of California at Berkeley is the USA's most prestigious public university. In fact, the UofC's flagship on the eastern side of San Francisco Bay is generally ranked amongst the top half-dozen research universities in the world, on a par with its cross-bay rival Stanford. Its campus in the hills north of Oakland is easily distinguished by Sather Tower, the world's third-highest clock tower.
