Trentino Alto Adige is a region of northern Italy. It consists of two provinces: South Tyrol and Trentino. The region has only been part of modern Italy for about a century; prior to World War I it was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Trentino Alto Adige is home to arguably the most fantastic natural scenery in Italy in the form of the Dolomite Mountains, an eastern arm of the Alps, which run along the border with Austria. It's also home to the great city of Trento (one of the largest cities located within the Alps) and numerous mountain fortresses and war monuments, among other sights. Here are some epic drone videos of this stunning region of a country which is blessed with a wealth of cultural and natural beauty.
