One Day in South Tyrol
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Visitors to the South Tyrol province of northern Italy are sometimes confused by the German-sounding names which are almost ubiquitous here. The reason for that is that the area was part of Austria (actually, the Austro-Hungarian Empire) until the defeat of the Central Powers in World War I. As a reward for joining the Allied cause, Italy was granted control of the province as part of the peace settlement. Never in the world you see as many churches and castles so close to each other as in South Tyrol. Unfortunately we only had a day (and just 2 drone storage batteries). This definitely made us want to go there again with more time and drone batteries of course to film more of these wonderful churches, castles and beautiful mountains.
