The beauty of Malta

Award-winning content creator and drone pilot johannesboechl created this marvelous video record of a trip to the Mediterranean island nation of Malta. The first part of the video was filmed on the island of Gozo, Malta's second-largest island which lies just northwest of the main island. The video has some great shots of the Fortress of Cittadella (the capital of Gozo) as well as the Ramla Bay Beach and the Fungus Rock. You'll also see a bit of Comino, the tiny island which lies between Malta and Gozo. This video won DVOW in December 2019.

To escape the cold winter in Germany my Girlfriend and I decided to make a short vacation in Malta. We stayed in Mellieha, where we had a wonderful castle which you see in the video. After a 10 minutes ride you enter the ferry terminal where we took a ferry to the Island Gozo. On Gozo we found the wonderful Tal Mixta Cave where you have a nice view over the Ramla Bay Beach. We continued with visiting the Fungus Rock and a nice Church. On the last Day of our Vacation we took a Ferry to get to Comino, which is a nice island with only 3 occupants. Malta is always a good idea for traveling.
