Tuscany is a region of north-central Italy, lying on the west coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Tuscany derives from the Etruscans, an ancient civilization which was one of the great power of the Mediterranean region before eventually coming under the control of Rome. Tuscany is home to some of the most well known tourist sites in Italy, including some of its best known castles and vineyards as well as the city of Florence, which was #2 on Conde Nast's influential list of the best cities in Europe in 2017. Tuscany's charms have not gone unnoticed by the world's drone pilots, as you'll see in this amazing collection of aerial videos from the region widely recognized as the Birthplace of the Renaissance. Aerial photo: "Montepulciano" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Maxmorriconi.
