Toscana - Val d'Orcia

Check out these beautiful aerial views of a well known valley in the Tuscany region of Italy, compliments of contributor Luca T.  The Val d'Orcia runs from the area south of Siena southwards to the lava dome of Monte Amiata, in the south-central part of the region.   A UNESCO World Heritage site known for its picturesque villages and wineries, the Val d' Orcia has been used to film numerous feature movies, including the English Patient (1996) and Gladiator (2000), and other somewhat less well-known titles.
