Marble Quarry of Massa-Carrara

The area around Carrara in Tuscany, Italy is known for its marble quarries.  Located about an hour northwest of Florence in the province of Massa & Carrara, it has been supplying Italy (and the world) high quality marble since Roman times.  One of the Carrara quarries was used to film part of the chase scene which opened the 2008 James Bond film Quantum of Solace, the 24th of the series.  In this video by Enrico Pescantini, you'll get a bird's eye view of one of the famed Carrara marble quarries.
