The province of West Nusa Tenggara in southern Indonesia is a backpackers' and surfers' paradise. Like Bali, its islands are part of the Lesser Sunda group. Its main islands are Sumbawa and the better-known (but smaller) island of Lombok to its west. Home to over 3 million people, Lombok has become a major tourist destination, and was recently ranked #3 on the influential Travel + Leisure ranking of the World’s 15 Best Islands. Just to the northwest of the main island lie the three Gili Islands, which have also become quite popular with adventurist travelers seeking the "next Bali". Here is a collection of the best drone videos from these magical islands. Aerial photo: "Senggigi Bay and Ferry Terminal, Lombok" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Neil Cave.
