Gili Trawangan is the largest of Indonesia's three "Gili's" - a chain of three islands which lie off the northwestern coast of the island of Lombok in the West Nusa Tenggara Province just east of Bali. The island measures about 3 km long (around 2 km) by 2 km wide (a bit over a mile), and has a full-time population of around 1.5k. Seen here in this outstanding drone video ruriospaulo, Gili Trawangan and its sister islands Gili Air and Gili Meno have become one of Indonesia's up-and-coming beach destinations.
