Madeira - Waterfall Hike 2023

Our host - Eduardo from Sea View House, I recommend staying with him - gave us a couple of tips: Some of those waterfalls and the hikes are very popular and other waterfalls are even better. So it's off to Lagoa da D.Beija which is a rather low one but you have a chance of being alone there. Possibly my favorite is Lagoa do Vento, a big one that is followed by Risco: If you launch your drone you can see both cascading one after the other - epic. After a quick lunch at Rabaçal (salamanders, birds - to see, not to eat), it's off to Risco proper where I can fly both of them in one (and get close a DJI Mini). 25 Fontes is next: very crowded and only third place of those four waterfalls. The parking place is good for a bit of fpv. Finally we fly at Fanal but are too tired to go in. That video is only two weeks away.
