Last fall, I went to Nepal to hike the three passes route to Everest Base Camp with a good friend. Devastated to learn that drones are not allowed there, I decided to try and become the drone myself, using a DJI Osmo Mobile 2. Surely, I am not as smooth as a Mavic Pro, but how many people have taken their drone over 5000 m high into thin air and shot footage of the world's most impressive mountains in extreme cold? Hence, I reckoned that this material would qualify as aerial views. Enjoy this quick reel of our epic trip into the Himalayas, offering a look at famous mountains such as Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Pumori, mighty glaciers including Khumbu and Ngozumpa and fantastic view points on top of Nagartsang peak, Kongma La, Kala Patthar, Cho La, Gokyo Ri and Renja La. Longer videos coming soon ;)
