Kuwait is a small and oil-rich country of the Middle East. It is situated near the head of the Persian Gulf, bordered by Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Like much of the region, Kuwait is mostly covered by desert, although it's also home to some of the region's largest wetlands, which support a large bird population. One of the world's ten largest oil producers, its capital Kuwait City has seen its share of the skyscraper building boom which has transformed many of the cities of the region. Here is a collection of drone videos from this wealthy land, whose invasion and annexation by Iraq in 1990 led to the conflict known as the Gulf War. Aerial photo: "Kuwait Early Morning" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Mungkey.
