Kuwait's Al Hamra Tower at sunset
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor Eddysdrone created this beautiful aerial portrait of Kuwait City's Al Hamra Tower. Completed in 2011, the 80 story building reaches a height of just under 415 meters, or 1.36k ft. It's the tallest building in the Middle East outside of Dubai, and as of year-end 2018 it was the world's #30 building by height. Designed in part to save energy by reflecting the area's intense sunlight, its unique architecture won several awards and was included in Time magazine's list of best inventions in 2011.
