The Greek islands of the Aegean Sea (a body of water which is considered an extension of the Mediterranean) extend far to the east and southeast of mainland Greece, with the outer islands much closer to Turkey. There are over 1,000 islands in the region, which includes the official North Aegean and South Aegean administrative territories; roughly 200 of these islands are inhabited. They include four main groupings: the Cyclades, Dodecanese, North Aegean, and Sporades Islands. Here are the best drone videos of these islands, some of which are amongst the best known destinations in the world for aquatic activities like sailing and windsurfing . Santorini is a small crescent-shaped Greek island in the Aegean Sea, the southernmost of the Cyclades group of over 200 islands (many of which are uninhabited). It is known for its crisp, white buildings and blue roofs, jutting out from the cliffside towards the azure sea. Top contributor Lucaspinhel, who has over 200k followers on Instagram, uses those blues and whites to his advantage, creating pops of orange, yellow, and red with the beautiful dresses his models wear in this unique drone video.
