NISYROS - ONE DAY

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist PawelWorsztynowicz brings us this fantastic drone video from the Greek island of Nisyros. Nisyros is part of the Dodecanese Archipelago, a group of islands which lie off the western coast of Turkey. Nisyros was formed by a volcanic eruption which occurred on the floor of the Aegean Sea less than 150k years ago, making it an infant in geological terms. The island covers about 20 square mi. (around 50 square km) and has a permanent population of around a thousand.
