Drone Videos of Ho Chi Minh City

Prepare to be amazed by this stunning day-and-night drone video of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam by top AirVuz contributor dronesantana007.  The video opens with a shot flying towards Bitexco Financial Center, briefly Vietnam's tallest building and still distinguished by its 52nd floor helipad.  Around the :54 mark, you'll fly over the Ba Son Bridge, which spans the Saigon River and opened in 2022.  At 2:25, there's another shot looking past the bridge toward the Landmark 81 tower, the second-tallest skyscraper in Southeast Asia as of 2024.  

Former DVOW Winner davetke2002 brings us this excellent aerial video of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's largest city.  The first stop is the Bitexco Financial Tower, which was the country's tallest building when completed in 2010 and is distinguished by its 52nd floor helipad.  At about the :40 mark, you'll see the Viet Nam Quoc Tu Pagoda, aka the National Pagoda of Vietnam.   The next stop is the Landmark 81 tower, which was completed in 2018 and is the country's tallest skyscraper.  Other highlights include Ho Chi Minh Square (2:13).    

The Landmark 81 Tower is the most prominent sign of the resurgence of the great city once known as Saigon.  Now Ho Chi Minh City, it's the largest in Vietnam as well as its commercial capital.   Located just west of the Saigon River in the Bình Thạnh District, the 81 story mixed-use building stands 460 meters tall (just over 1.5k ft.).  When it was completed in 2018, it was one of the world's 20 tallest skyscrapers.  Seen here in this excellent drone video from Dang Cine, the tower is part of the Vinhomes Central Park development.

Take an aerial tour of Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City in this excellent piece by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Dang Cine.  The former South Vietnamese capital lost its name (Saigon) following the Reunification in 1975, but retained its position as the country's commercial and financial capital.  The center of a bustling metropolis of over 13 million, the city has gone "vertical" in the last decade: Ho Chi Minh City now boasts over two dozen skyscrapers over 150 meters (500 ft.), all of which have been built since 2010.

Take in these magnificent drone views of Ho Chi Minh City, compliments of top AirVuz contributor Dang Cine.  Shot at sunrise, the video was filmed along the Saigon River, which runs through the giant city and which is part of the great Mekong Delta.  The river runs a course of around 140 mi. (around 225 km), emptying into the Soài Rạp River just south of the river, which in turn empties into the South China Sea.  The Saigon River's meandering course through the city includes numerous bridges, many of which you'll see in the video.

Check out these fantastic drone views of Ho Chi Minh, City, Vietnam, compliments of top contributor and pilot Dang Cine.  Most of the video was shot around the mist-enshrouded Bitexco Financial Tower, the second-tallest building in Vietnam's commercial and financial capital.  Distinguished by its prominent heli-pad, the 68 story office tower has a roof height of just over 260 meters or around 860 ft.  Completed in 2010, it's currently the second-tallest in HCMC after the Vietnam Landmark 81, which you'll see off in the distance.

(461 m) above the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, the commercial capital and largest city of Vietnam.  Completed in 2018, the 81 story tower was the tallest in Southeast Asian prior to the completion of the Merdeka 118 tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  The 81 story tower sits on the banks of the Saigon River just north of the historic city center.
