The former South Vietnamese capital lost its name (Saigon) following the Reunification in 1975, but retained its position as the country's commercial and financial capital. The center of a bustling metropolis of over 13 million, the city has gone "vertical" in the last decade: Ho Chi Minh City now boasts over two dozen skyscrapers over 150 meters (500 ft.), all of which have been built since 2010.
