Top contributor Sandrine Hecq travels to some of the world's most exotic places to make travel videos for her social media audience.  To make this magnificent video, nominated for DVOW in June 2019, she traveled to the island of Nusa Penida in Indonesia's Bali province.  It's situated more or less due east of Denpasar, the provincial capital, which lies at the southern end of Bali's main island.  Nusa Penida is known for its bird sanctuaries, mountainous interior, white-sand beaches, and world-class diving.

Top contributor Drone My Life won the 2022 Drone Video of the Year award with his video from the Faroe Islands.  In this piece, you'll head to the opposite side of the world for an aerial tour of the famed Indonesian province of Bali.  Created with a mix of gimbal-stabilized drone footage and first person view (FPV) shots, the DVOW Finalist video features shots from around the island, ranging from the rice terraces and waterfalls of the interior to the famed beaches on the satellite island of Nusa Penida.

Follow top contributor Seven Cinematics as they take a honeymoon trip through Bali, Indonesia.  A Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week in July, 2020, the video starts off at the fabled rice terraces of Tegalalang near Ubud.  Another featured spot is Tanah Lot, a famous Balinese temple on the island's southwestern coast.  You'll also see some great footage from the Gili's, a set of small islands southeast of the main island.  The last of the four spots featured is Uluwatu, a fabled surfing beach at the main island's southern tip.  

Contributor Jasonkmclean hits the bullseye with this 90 second drone video of Bali, Indonesia, accomplishing his stated goal of putting together something to show the "essence of Bali".  The video does just that; you will get bird's eye views from across the island as well as the Nusa islands which lie off its southeastern coast.  You will see top-downs of the island's famous rocky cliffs, its famed rice terraces, some glimpses of its people, and even (at the :50) some unidentified four-legged creatures (!).

This marvelous drone video of Bali, Indonesia by top AirVuz contributor dronesantana007 opens with some great footage of the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces on the interior of the island.  Then it's on to the Camouhan Ridge Walk and Tegenungan Waterfall in Ubud (also in the interior), before heading to Nusa Penida, a small satellte island to the southeast of the main island.  To finish, you'll head back to the southern tip of the main island for glimpses of the Tanah Lot Temple and the famous Seminyak beach area.

While the island of Bali in Indonesia is considerably smaller than giants such as Borneo and Sumatra, it does nonetheless cover a substantial area of almost 6k square km (over 2k square mi).  In this drone video by top contributor Aerial Entertainment Studios, you will get a bird's eye not only of the island's famous beaches and rocks but also some of the interior areas of the main island and its small neighbors in the province.  Bali is situated between the islands of Java to the west and Lombok to the east.

Talented content creator Robin Puskas was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this fantastic video from the Indonesian island paradise of Bali.  The video opens with a shot looking toward the volcanic mountains which cover much of the northern part of the island.  At around the :24 mark, you'll see one of the beaches of the satellite island of Nusa Penida.  Further on in the video, you'll be treated to views of the famous rice terraces of Ubud in the interior of the island, as well as some of the beaches of southern Bali.

Top AirVuz contributor and pilot chrisgrewe created this stunning drone video of Bali, Indonesia.  The video opens with an epic shot of the mountains which cover much of the northern part of this tropical island, followed by some great footage of the Lempuyang Temple (Stairway to Heaven) temple on the slopes of its namesake mountain.  The video features shots of some unusual spots on Bali, including an old helicopter body turned into a sculpture (at the :55 mark), as well as more familiar sites like the Ubud Rice Terraces.  

For his second upload to AirVuz, contributor kevinmichaeltravel brings us this stunning 60 second drone video from the fabled Indonesian island of Bali.  The video opens with some shots of Bali's famous beaches, then transitions to the interior for aerial views of its equally famous rice terraces.  Then it's on to shots of the legendary Bali surfing scene, and a secluded beach on the "satellite" island of Nusa Penida.  The video also features shots of the volcanic Mt. Agung, the Balinese Tanah Lot Temple, and more.   

Pro surfers Cam Richards, Curren Caples, Betet Merta, and Noah Schweiser take on some epic waves on one of the top surfing beaches in Bali, Indonesia in this awesome aerial footage!  High above the deep blue barrels, top contributor and pilot Jasonkmcklean chased the surfers with his drone as they rode rolling currents.  No doubt, these guys have some surf skills that show they are one with the waves. For one of his first uploads to AirVuz, Romand Ramaekers brings us this rather stunning mini-aerial tour of the famed Indonesian island of Bali. Shot with a DJI Mavic Pro 2, the video features footage of some of the top sights of this island, including its famed rice terraces and beaches. The star of the show though is the magnificent Sekumpul Waterfall; located in North Bali and harder to reach than many of the island's other falls, it's absolutely stunning. This video was a DVOW finalist in October, 2019.

Indonesia's Bali island is known for having some of the world's most epic surfing beaches.  When a super swell hit the Padang Padang Beach (on the southern part of the island) in June of 2017, "epic" went to, well whatever comes after "epic".  As you will see in this incredible drone video by contributor Indo Eye, who was able to film these unusually favorable surfing conditions from a bird's eye view.  Needless to say, this is not for the beginner surfers out there; these are extremely dangerous waves.

You’ve seen aerial views that show the beautiful landscape of Indonesia's Bali province, but what about its people? Through the lens of a drone and other cameras, this video by contributor Anthonytori aims to showcase the people that call Bali home. Filmed in a rice field on the interior of Bali island, you can watch and learn what makes the Balinese people the happiest individuals this drone pilot has ever encountered.  The Balinese are a distinct ethnicity within the archaepelago, most practice a form of Hinduism.

Top contributor Michael Matti created this fabulous mini-aerial tour of the Indonesian paradise island of Bali.  Using a DJI Phantom 3 drone, he will take you over the expanse of this famous island, one of the Lesser Sunda Islands which make up most of southern Indonesia. You'll see some of Bali's seaside towns and villages as well as some of its cultural and natural landmarks, including some awesome shots of its Balinese (a form of Hinduism) temples and impressive-looking rice terraces.  

Top contributor and pilot BigHeadGreg created this magnificent aerial mini-tour of the Indonesian island of Bali, one of the world's most sought-after tropical destinations.  His video will give you bird's eye views of some of the most popular spots of this stunning island, which lies just to the east of Java (Indonesia's most populous island).  You'll see amazing views of Aling-Aling Waterfall, GitGit Waterfall, Lempunyang Temple, Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Campuhan Walk, among other magnificent sights.  

Top contributor Sandrine Hecq created this very informative vlog from the Indonesian tropical paradise of Bali.  The specific spot is Seminyak, which lies on the western side of the island, southwest of Denpassar.  While Seminyak is quite luxurious, it's a bit more relaxed than the towns at the southern tip of the island, which is more nightclub-focused.  The video follows her vlog format which combines ground footage and drone footage, and is a great way to see a place you may be thinking of visiting.  

Top contributor Moadh_Bukasj created this beautiful drone video of the Indonesian island of Bali.  The first spot featured is Jimbaran.  It's a small beach town not far from the southern tip of the island, south of the capital Denpessar.  Next is Uluwatu, which lies even further south, at the tip of the Bukit Peninsula.  The final spot featured is Ubud, located in the northern part of the islands, which is one of the largest cities of interior Bali and home to some of its greatest cultural treasures. 

In this drone video, top content creator and pilot Big Head Greg treats us to an epic aerial tour of the "Nusa's" - the three small islands which lie off of the main island of Bali in southern Indonesia.  Nusa Penida is the largest and by far the best known of the three, followed by Nusa Lembongan, and tiny Nusa Leningan sitting in between.  These islands, all of which are part of the administrative area of the Bali province, are accessible via a short boat ride from Bali's capital city, Denpasar.

The Monumen Bajra Shandhi is a monument on the Indonesian island of Bali, whose native population is a relatively small but distinct ethnic group within the archipelago.  Contributor and pilot Paulusandry flew a drone over this giant landmark, which was built in 1987 and dedicated to memorializing the struggles of the Balinese people, who practice a brand of Hinduism in an overwhelmingly Muslim majority country.  It is situated in the town of Denpasar, Bali's provincial capital, near the south end of the island.  

In just a short time, Kelingking Beach has become one of the most well-known in the Indonesian province of Bali.  It's actually not located on the island itself but rather on the small satellite of Nusa Penida, which lies off the main island's southeastern coast.  Relatively unknown before the age of drones and social media, the beach has become famous for the shape of its rocks, which resemble a dinosaur's head.  Check it out from above in this excellent drone video from AirVuz contributor boma.story.  

Check out this beautiful drone video of an important Hindu temple just off the coast of the Indonesian island of Bali, compliments of Lego.  It's called Tanah Lot Temple, and it sits atop a tiny rock formation islet called Tanah Lot.  It's situated in the southwestern part of the island, a bit northwest of the provincial capital Denpassar.  It's one of seven sea temples that lie along the coast of the island, all of which are considered extremely important to the Balinese religion, a branch of Hinduism.  

Some of the most exclusive resorts on the Indonesian island of Bali are in an area called Nusa Dua.  It consists of two small islands which lie off the southeastern part of the main island: Nusa Dharma and Peninsula Island.  Not to be confused with the Nusa group of islands which lie somewhat further offshore, the Nusa Dua area is the home of some of Bali's most well known luxury resorts.  One of these, the Samabe Bali Suites, is the subject of this beautiful travel video by top content creator and pilot Drone Heroes.  

While the Indonesian island of Bali was "discovered" for its beaches, its interior regions have become increasingly popular for adventure-oriented tourists.  Leading the charge has been the area around Ubud, which lies in the Glanyar Regency in the south-central part of the island.  Set in the foothills of the mountains which lie to its north, Ubud is known for its rice terraces, ravines, and important Javanese cultural sites.  In this drone video by Alexander Schmidt Photography, you'll get an aerial view of this highly spiritual region.  

Indonesia's Nusa Penida island is part of the province of Bali, situated between Bali's main island to west and the island of Lombok to its east.  The stunning cliffs of the island and the tall rocks lie beside it, set against the deepest of blue seas, represent some of the most spectacular scenery in Southeast Asia.  Top content creator and pilot Leni Sediva used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this stunning aerial view of this magical island in one of the world's most desirable beach destination zones.

The town of Ubud is located in the interior of the Indonesian island of Bali.  Ubud is known for its culture, including traditional crafts and dance. It’s also a spectacular place to drone, as seen in this aerial video by top contributor Drone Heroes. This particular footage showcases The Chedi Club in Bali, which offers drone pilots and other travelers an opportunity for a luxurious vacation.  Drone Heroes is one of the top drone-focused accounts on Instagram and he collaborates with many travel companies.  

Contributor Lego created this beautiful drone video of one of the world's most iconic surfing spots.  It's called Uluwatu, and it's located at the very southwestern tip of the island of Bali in southern Indonesia.  The site was used as the filming location for a movie called Morning of the Earth, a 1971 low budget Australian film which has since gone on to become a classic in the surfing movie genre.  With its five separate breaks, Uluwatu is now considered one of the world's top surfing beaches.  

Top contributor and pilot Moadh_Bukhash created this stunning 4k drone video of Jimbaran Bay, home to one of the most famous beaches of Bali, Indonesia.  The bay sits on the western side of the Bukit Peninsula on the south end of the island, more or less due south from the provincial capital of Denpasar.  The bay is lined by Jimbaran Beach, which runs for about four km (a bit over two mi.).  With its calm waters, it's considered one of the finest beaches on an island that is known around the world for them.

Among the cultural wonders of the Indonesian province of Bali is the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park.  Located just a few minutes' drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, it's devoted to the great Hindu God Vishnu and the bird Garuda.  The centerpiece of the park is a giant (and nearly brand-new) statue of the god mounted atop the flying bird; the statue measures over 120 meters tall (almost 400 ft.). Among the phenomena for which the Indonesian island of Bali is known are its famous rice terraces.  While rice terraces aren't unique to the island, the style in which they are built here is quite distinctive.  They use an irrigation system called Subak, which represents the application of centuries of localized irrigation techniques and expertise.  Amongst the most well known terraces are located around Jatiluwih.  It's a UNESCO World Heritage site located a roughly 60 minute drive northwest of Danpassar.  

Top contributor LA_Drones collaborated with one of the top resorts on the tropical Indonesian island of Bali to create this awesome aerially-focused travel video.  The Anantara resort is situated in the area of Seminyak, the top beach town at the southern end of Bali's main island.  It's on the western side of the island, just west of the capital city Denpasar.  The Seminyak area is home to some of the top resorts in Bali, one of the Lesser Sunda chain of islands which extends east of Java in southern Indonesia.  

Check out this absolutely stunning video of two well-known spots on the Indonesian tropical paradise known as Bali, compliments of contributor Mawefo.  The first spot is Candi Dasa, a beach town near the eastern extremity of the island.  It's known for being more laid-back that the towns near the southern tip of the island.  The second spot is the interior town of Ubud.  One of the most popular destinations in Bali, it's known for its beautiful rice paddies and important cultural landmarks.  

Top contributor Sky Marshall was able to aerially capture the eruption of Mt. Agung on the Indonesian island of Bali.  Located in the east-central part of the island, Agung is the tallest mountain on the island, with a peak elevation of just over 3k meters (just under 10k ft.).  The volcano is quite active, having erupted spectacularly in 1963-4, killing over a thousand people. Its most recent activity beginning in 2017 has not been as dramatic, but nevertheless is considered quite threatening.

In recent years, the Indonesian island of Bali has seen extensive development on its southwestern shore, just north of the Bukkit Peninsula which is home to Bali's most well-known beach resorts.  One of the emerging beach destinations in the town of Canggu, which is particularly popular with surfers.  It's located just 10 km (around 6 mi.) north of Kuta, near the "neck" of the peninsula.  You can check out beautiful Canggu and its surfing scene from above in this excellent drone video by AirVuz contributor and pilot silvano1988.  

Amongst the more notable features of the Indonesian island of Bali are its rice terraces.  These systems of water management are not unique to Bali, but the rice terraces here represent some of the most complex arrangements on earth. In this drone video by NTG DRONE, you'll get a bird's eye view of one of the most famous of Bali's rice terraces.  It's near the village of Jatiluwih, in the Tabanan Regency in the central part of the island.  These terraces have been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.  

Check out the Indonesian island paradise of Bali from an entirely new perspective in this first person view (FPV) video by contributor and FPV pilot Ryantlx.  He captured some epic FPV footage of this island in southern Indonesia using a TBS Crossfire racing drone.  The highlight of the clip is some footage of a giant copper and brass statue of the Hindu God Wisnu which was then under construction; taking five years to build at a cost of over US$100 million, it's believed to be the world's largest statue.  

If you look at a map of the Indonesian island of Bali, its most prominent feature is a peninsula which juts out to the south and a bit west from the "mainland" around the provincial capital of Denpassar.  Known as the Bukit Peninsula, this is the heart of Bali as one of the world's top beach destinations.  In this drone video by Lego, you'll get an aerial view of the area around Ungasan.  This area, which includes Melasti Beach and Jimbaran Hill, lies roughly in the middle of the Bukit's southern coastline.

Check out one of the newest (accessible) beaches on the island of Nusa Penida in Bali, compliments of contributor otis72@virgilio.it.  It's called Diamond Beach, and it's on this eastern side of this "satellite" of the main island of Bali.  Situated on a bay, the stunningly beautiful beach is backed by a near-sheer rock wall, and has only recently become accessible with the construction of a staircase.  The beach presents a feel of complete seclusion, with awesome views of towering offshore rocks.  

One of the things which makes the Indonesian province of Bali a world-class travel destination is the range of high-end lodging options available.  For those wishing to avoid the larger resorts, Bali offers much more intimate settings that still leave nothing to be desired comfort-wise.  In this video by jantrnkaproductions, you'll get a virtual tour of the Didori Villa in Ubud.  Located in the interior of the island, the villa offers marvelous views (and close access) to Ubud's famous rice terraces and other cultural landmarks.  

Check out this drone video of one of Bali's most famous beaches, compliments of otis72@virgilio.it. Padang-Padang Beach is located on the western side of Uluwatu, a peninsula of the southern shore of this Indonesian island.  For years it was fairly well known among the worldwide surfing community, but what vaulted this small strip of beach near the Uluwatu Temple to an entirely different level of fame was its appearance as a filming scene in the 2010 blockbuster Eat, Pray, Love starring Julia Roberts.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor gadour23 brings us this excellent drone video of Mt. Batur on the island of Bali in Indonesia.  It's an active volcano situated in the northern part of the island, northwest of the better-known Mt. Agung.  Recognizable by two concentric caldera's, the larger of which is home to a large lake, its peak stands about 1.7k meters (around 5.6k ft.) above sea level.  The volcano erupted as recently as 2000, and has a history of events going back to 1800.  

Didori Villa is nestled on the edge of a small Balinese village surrounded by rice fields near the upland town of Ubud.  Advertised as a spiritual and tranquil haven, top contributor jantrnkaproductions collaborated with the resort management to create this marvelous travel video which incorporates both ground camera and drone footage.  The villa was used in the filming of the 2010 movie “Eat, Pray, Love” starring Julia Roberts, a screenplay adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's bestselling memoir.  

AirVuz contributor jdelaire brings us this excellent drone video from the Agung volcano, the highest mountain on the Indonesian island of Bali.  With a peak elevation of about 9.9k ft. above sea level (a bit over 3k m), it lies to the southeast of Mt. Batur, the other well-known Balinese volcano.  Mt. Agung is quite active, having erupted catastrophically in the 1960's and in somewhat less spectacular fashion in 2017-19.  The mountain holds considerable religious significance for the island's native Balinese people.  

Crystal Bay is one of the best-known and accessible on the Indonesian island of Nusa Penida, which lies in the Bali province just southeast of the main island.  The half-moon shaped bay is situated near the western tip of Nusa, just a short distance from the tiny islands of Ceningan and Lembongan which sit in between Bali and Nusa.  It's also considered one of the premiere snorkeling spots in Indonesia.   Check out this 200 meter (around 650 ft.) strip of paradise from above in this drone video by otis72@virgilio.it.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot fpv_kuskov earned a spot on the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in November, 2022 with this fantastic piece from the fabled Indonesian province of Bali.  The video was filmed on the coast of Nusa Penida, which is a small "satellite" island just to the southeast of the larger island of Bali, across the body of water known as the Bandung Strait.  Nusa Penida is in turn surrounded by about a dozen smaller islands, which you'll see in the video.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot chrissbergan earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July of 2023 with this marvelous video of some very talented enduro riders tackling the volcanic Mt. Batur on the Indonesian island of Bali.  Still very much active, Batur is located a bit to the northwest of Mt. Agung, in the north-central part of the island.  The volcano has a peak altitude of about 5.6k ft. above sea level (about 1.7k m), a bit over half as tall as Mt. Agung.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Travel Imagez brings us this excellent drone video of some of the Berina rice terraces on the Indonesian island of Bali.  Rice terraces are constructed primarily for the purpose of controlling erosion.  While they can be found in hilly areas throughout Southeast Asia, some of the most well-known are found on Bali: the fabled terraces near the town of Ubud, in the south-central part of Bali.  The Berina terraces, which are less well known, are situated near the island's eastern tip.    

Take a 60 second spin around the Indonesian paradise known as Bali, compliments of AirVuz contributor elluuna.  The video opens with some amazing shots of the famed rices terraces in the Tegallalang District near the interior town of Ubud.  Next stop is the Tanah Lot rock formation on Bali's southern coast, atop which sits the Balinese temple Pura Tanah Lot. With multiple Drone Video of the Week wins, oculusfilms is one of the top content creators in the AirVuz community.  This alone is a good reason to check out their latest video, which was filmed on the Indonesian paradise island of Bali.  The first part of the video features some epic aerial shots of Bali's famed rice terraces, in the interior of the island.  In the second part of the video, you'll also get some drone's eye views of Bali's famous beaches, including the "walled bay" of Broken Beach on the satellite island of Nusa Penida. 

The most popular beach areas of Bali are in the southern part of this fabled Indonesian island.  In this drone video by brand-new contributor zabsandantstravels, you'll get an aerial view of two of them:  Uluwatu Beach and Dreamland Beach.  Both lie on the Bukit Peninsula, at the southern tip of the island.  Uluwatu Beach is located at the western end of Bukit, while Dreamland Beach is located a bit to the north.  This area is home to some of Bali's most legendary surfing spots, as well as many of its most luxurious lodging properties.  

With its mountainous, rainforested interior, it's not surprising that the Indonesian island of Bali would be home to some amazing waterfalls.  However, many of the island's falls are located in the muntains themselves and are hard to access.  That's why Tegenunga Falls is such a popular attraction; it's an easy trip from Denpassar (near the island's southern end) and an even easier trip from the interior town of Ubud.  You can check it out from above in this drone video by otis72@virgilio.it.  

While the southern part of Bali is most well known for its beaches, the north-central part of this Indonesian island is known for its waterfalls and temples.  In this drone video by CLOUDS TRIP, you'll get a great view of several of these top natural and cultural sites around the municipality of Munduk.  The video features the Blahamantung, Sekumpul, Banyumala, and Gigit waterfalls, among Bali's best-known falls. It also features Tamblingan and Bratan Temples, two very well known Balinese landmarks.
