Greenland is the world's largest island. It covers an enormous 2.1+ million square km (around 835k square mi.), an area three times the size of the USA state of Texas. Located in the north Atlantic Ocean, it's also one of the most sparsely populated places on the planet; each of its roughly 55k residents (as of 2019) would have almost 40 square km (about 15 square mi.) to themselves if the territory were divided up equally. This sovereign territory of Denmark is the largest source of icebergs in the Northern Hemisphere and a crucial component to the entire world eco-system. It's also famous for its mammalian sea life, offering some of the best whale watching opportunities on the planet. Here is a collection of the best drone videos of this mysterious island.
