The enthusiasm for flying a racing quadcopter via FPV (First Person View) goggles is growing every year and finding a broader audience beyond those found in underground parking garages, or epic racecourses.
Industry experts estimate that this multi-billion dollar (and growing) industry still has plenty of runway. It’s relatively cheap, with its fairly low cost for entry into the hobby (but watch out as those customized rigs start calling your name) and there’s definitely a thrill: the ability to reach speeds that would impress a Formula 1 racer, the spectacle of crashes that actually rarely ever injure any person, and the propensity to rage on through a flightpath like an Avatar in fast-forward. Of course, news happens in the sport every day, so stay tuned to AirVuz for our coverage on all things FPV Drone Racing and Freestyle.
