Forest chips are used in wood boilers by a simple device: an endless screw and a silage system with blades which turns in circles and pushes the fuel into the screw.The said wafers are stored in a storage silo with variable capacity according to needs, and are introduced into the screw of the wafer boiler which itself feeds the combustion chamber, the hearth. Thermal productivity is excellent because more than 90% of the potential energy of wood is transformed. This allows very little smoke and ash to be generated.
