Contributor and pilot IlkerCagatayAsik used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to create this mesmerizing aerial look at Galata Tower, one of the landmarks of Istanbul, Turkey. The 67 meter (about 200 ft.) tower was built in the 14th century in the Genoese colony of the city that was then known as Constantinople. It's been restored many times and has been used for a variety of purposes over the centuries. It sits in the Galata district in in the heart of old Istanbul, near the Golden Horn inlet to the Bosphorus.
