In this video, we visit three locations in the province of Lugo. First, the Mirador Monte Farelo viewpoint in Antas de Ulla. This viewpoint is located on Mount Farelo, which divides the provinces of Lugo and Pontevedra. It stands at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters and offers spectacular views of all four Galician provinces on clear days. It also houses rock formations with Bronze Age petroglyphs. It's an ideal place to enjoy nature and explore the region's history. Second, Monte Faro de Chantada. This mountain, at 1,181 meters high, is the highest point in the Sierra del Faro and marks the border between the provinces of Lugo and Pontevedra. At its summit is the Ermida da Nosa Señora do Faro, a shrine of great devotion in Galicia. From here, you can see all four Galician provinces, and the place is famous for its pilgrimages and its rich history. We end the route at the Alto do Coto viewpoint in Bóveda: This viewpoint, known as the "catapult viewpoint," is located in the Serra de Penas mountain range, at an altitude of approximately 679 meters. Its oak wood structure reaches 10 meters and offers stunning views of the Ribeira Sacra, including the O Courel mountains and the Lemos Valley. It is one of the most striking viewpoints in the region.
