Puerto Vallarta Pier, People and Sunset

Puerta Vallarta is one of Mexico's most fabled beach towns. While much of the recent growth in the area has been in the Nayarit area to the north, the town center continues to be a significant traffic draw. Amongst the city's most well known landmarks is the Los Muertos Pier, which sits on a beach of the same name. Designed by a famous Mexican architect, the pier was completed in 2011 alongside a renovation of the boardwalk.
