Lietava Castle

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Content creator and drone pilot Pavol Turcani used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this marvelous aerial videos of one of the most well known castle ruins in Slovakia. Lietava Castle is located in a mountainous area in the northern part of the country. It was built in the 13th century, a golden age for castle building in Central Europe. The castle fell into disrepair and its ownership fragmented in the 17th century, following which it was abandoned. It's now owned by a non-profit organization.
