Koroni of Messinia Greece

Koroni lies near the end of a finger-like landmass in the region of Messinia, which occupies the southwestern part of the larger Peloponnese Peninsula. Mostly surrounded by the waters of the Gulf of Messinia and the Ionian Sea, the town occupied an important strategic position through the Early Modern Period. The video features excellent footage of the town as well as the great fortress which overlooks it.
