K2 Base Camp Trek | Cinematic

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top AirVuz contributor Lucaputzer won the DVOW contest with this fantastic video from the mighty K2 Mountain in Pakistan.  Filmed with both a gimbal-stabilized drone as well as first person view (FPV) drone equipment, the video was filmed over the course of a 16 day trek to the camp at the base of the mountain.  With a summit elevation of a little over 28.2k ft. (8.6k m), K2 is the world's second-highest mountain after Mt. Everest.  Located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan's northernmost territory, it's part of the Karakoram Mountains.

Join me on an epic 16-day journey to K2 Basecamp in Pakistan! This trek was hands-down one of the toughest adventures I’ve ever tackled. With over 200 km of rugged trails, limited electricity to keep my drone equipment going, freezing temperatures, and food poisoning along the way, I captured this experience from the air and the ground. Witness the stunning, remote landscapes of the Karakoram mountains and get a glimpse of what it takes to reach one of the most breathtaking places on earth. Hit play and come along on this unforgettable journey! — Mail: info@lucaputzer.com Website: www.lucaputzer.com Instagram: lucaputzer
