Hurricanes?? Impact of Climate Change on Coastal Communities in Southern California

Increasing temperatures, rising sea level, increasing intensity of storms. This is what we can expect from Climate Change. And these have impacts in places near where many of us live. If we are in the Sierra, it's the increased risk of fire along with less snow and increased drought. If you are in Long Beach it's record breaking heat like we saw last week and then the impact of hurricanes as they move up the coast of Mexico and into Southern California. People say...so what are you doing about climate change. And I say..I vote. Individually my actions can make a very small difference. But it's through collective action that real differences will be made. Vote for people who will fight for our planet.
