Berlepsch Castle

The castle is situated in the northern part of Hesse, Germany. It was built in the second half of the 14th century and was strengthened in the next century. It was damaged or destroyed several times, especially in the 30-year war from 1618 to 1648. Today it houses a restaurant and a few interesting exhibits like a smithy and chain mail.
