Explore Portugal's Alvão Natural Park in this fantastic drone video by AirVuz contributor Airviewstudio.  The park covers about 28 square mi. (around 72 square km) across the municipalities of Mondim de Basto and Vila Real in Vila Real, one of the country's districts along Portugal's northern border with Spain.  The park lies in the mountains which cover much of the interior of northern Portugal, the tallest of which (Mt. Caravelas) has a summit altitude of about 4.4k ft. above sea level (around 1.3k m).

The Alvão Natural Park is a protected area in Portugal, classified as a Site of Community Interest according to the Natura 2000 Network. The park is small in size and is located between the municipalities of Mondim de Basto and Vila Real, in the north of the country. It was created in 1983 and covers a mountainous area of ​​70 km². The main geological curiosity is a waterfall called Las Fisgas de Ermelo.
