Compared to other types of agriculture, growing grapes requires a narrower range of conditions. It can't be too hot or too cold, and while grapes consume less water than other crops, the required water quality is much higher. Because of these demands, the world's best wines come from the relatively few spots where ideal conditions prevail, generally semi-arid regions that don't freeze and with nearby mountain water runoff - places like the Tuscany region of Italy, southern France, Portugal, northern California, Chile, and Argentina. Visually impressive places to begin with, the vineyards and wineries that dot their landscapes add to the aerial views. Here are the best drone videos of the world's vineyards and wineries!
