Brittany is one of the most distinctive regions of France. It covers the Breton Peninsula, a major landform which juts into the ocean off the "mainland" of northwestern France, in effect creating the southern boundary for the English Channel. Culturally, Brittany is somewhat unique for two main reasons: (1) the region saw a heavy influx of immigration from the British Isles during the waning years of Roman control, and (2) it didn't become part of the modern nation state of France until comparatively late. It's a region of quaint seaports, iconic lighthouses, low-slung mountains, and the best surfing beaches in France as well as some of the country's best spots for FPV coastal cruising, as you'll see in this collection of drone videos from the land once known as the End of the World.
