A journey to Saint-Malo

In this short drone video by poulain35, you'll get an amazing aerial view of the storied city of Saint-Malo in western France.  It's a walled port town on the northern shore of the Breton Peninsula.  St. Malo is closely associated with the seamier side of Brittany's seafaring tradition: piracy.  The protective barrier created by the town's fortifications permitted a pirate community to thrive here until well into the 19th century.  The city was heavily damaged during the World War II Allied invasion of France in 1944.
