Turkey's Mediterranean Region is an officially recognized area of the country. It extends along the country's southern coastline from roughly from Marmaris in the west to past Mersin in the east, to varying depths inland. It includes the cities of Antalya and Mersin/Adana plus hundreds of small towns and villages, many of which date to to the Antiquity. In addition to being home to some of the country's (and the world's) most famous beaches and ancient ruins, the area just north of the coastline features spectacular canyons and waterfalls; region is also home to some of the most well-known lakes in the Middle East. From the torquoise waters of Adrasan to the ruins near Mersin, here are the best drone videos from the region sometimes referred to as Southern Anatolia.
