Western Canada consists of British Columbia and the mountainous portion of Alberta west of the prairies. This region is home to Canada's most spectacular scenery, including hundreds of streams and rivers, endless forests, some of North America's most amazing waterfalls, and the Canadian Rockies, where one can find the highest mountains in Canada. The region offers some of the best skiing in North America; its two primary cities Vancouver and Calgary were both host cities for the winter Olympic Games, and the Whistler resort regularly appears at the top of lists of the world’s best ski resorts. It's no wonder why BC has become a serious rival to California for choosing movie locations. It's all here from above in this epic collection of drone videos from the western reaches of Canada!
