AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : The Western Canadian province of Alberta is a study in contrasts. While the eastern part of the province is prairie country, its western part is home to the spectacular Canadian Rockies. Top contributor and drone pilot Attilioruffophotography took his DJI Mavic Pro drone on a tour of this vast province, resulting in this breathtaking aerial video. Traveling through Banf, Jasper, and Yolo National Parks, he shows us the spectacular beauty of Alberta from an aerial perspective.

Disclaimer: Before you ask! The drone visuals are taken outside (south) of Yolo National Park, as unfortunately you are not allowed to fly drones in any Canadian National Park, and my permit request was denied! :-(

What I love about a photography trip is the anticipation,
the searching. the discovery.
Exploring new places... Feeding my curiosity.

I enjoy the uncertainty of the challenge of being able to capture the mood of new places, in images that are significant to me.
Photographs that will define my experience, my story. Ultimately…my way of seeing.

My photography is a hunt, a quest that never stops!
So coming back from a trip, I often sense that my most meaningful photograph... possibly will be… the next one!

Photography keeps me searching, in a journey that continues to change its destination.
And I find myself already scouting for the next adventure.
