Galicia is the northwesternmost region of Spain. The region has long (generally rocky) northern and western coastlines on the Atlantic Ocean, whose lighthouses attest to the danger posed to coastal shipping. The interior of Galicia is mountainous, with many waterfalls on the rivers which drain them. Culturally distinctive since Roman times, the region rose to continent-wide prominence in the Middle Ages when the Way of St. James became one of Europe's most important pilgrimage routes. Here are the best drone videos from this land in the northwestern corner of the Iberian Peninsula. Aerial photo: "Fog in La Guarda" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Diego_Al_Al.
