Apulia (Puglia) is one of the regions of southern Italy. Forming the "heel" of the country as seen on a map, it includes the following six provinces, from north to south: Foggia, Barletta-Andria-Trani, the Metropolitan City of Bari, Tanranto, Brindisi, and Lecce. One of Italy's most rural regions, most of Apulia's roughly 4 million population live in small towns and cities along its coastlines on the Adriatic Sea to the east and the Gulf of Taranto to the west. As a tourist destination, it's known for its famous beaches quaint port towns, and well-preserved communes and villages in its hilly interior; probably its most famous site is the rock formation/cave known as the Grotta della Poesia. In this collection, you can check out the best drone videos of the region. Aerial photo: "Bari, Italy" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot The Hobby Traveler - Gabrish Gabor.
