The Fall season, which peaks around October in the Northern Hemisphere and April in the Southern Hemisphere, is one of the most beautiful times of year in temperate latitudes. The transition from summer to winter causes deciduous trees to lose their leaves, but before the leaves fall they turn to often brilliant shades of yellow, orange, and red. Certain parts of the world such as New England and Appalachian in the USA have long been known as prime Autumn destinations, but the top spots for Fall colors also include places like the Czech Republic and the Carpathian Mountains in Europe. From the hills of Tennessee to forests of Lapland, here is a collection of some of the best aerial videos of Fall landscapes around the world.
