The Tangri Tagh - China

Prepare to be blown away by these drone views of China's Tian Shan Mountains (also known as the Tengri Tagh), compliments of former DVOW Winner T-christ-T.  While the video was filmed in northwestern China, the range extends into the neighboring countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.  Part of the Himalayan Mountain system formed by the collision of the Indo-Australian Plate with the Eurasian Plate, the Tian Shan Mountains have peaks ranging up to about 24.4k ft. above sea level (just over 7.4k m).

The Tangri Tagh - China"heavenly mountains"; sometimes spelled Tien Shan), also called Tangri Tagh (in Turkic languages ​​tangri,"heaven (God)" and tagh, "mountain"), is a high mountain range of Central Asia located in the northwest of the Tarim Basin (largely occupied by the Taklamakan Desert). The highest peaks of the Tian Mountains are Jengish Chokusu (7,439 m), formerly Pobedy Peak, and Khan Tengri Peak (7,010 m). The average altitude is 4,000 m.
