Sunset Skylines of Frankfurt: A Drone's Paradise

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Enjoy these outstanding drone views of Frankfurt, Germany by top AirVuz contributor Cinelifter Media, which was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in September of 2023. Filmed at sunset, the video opens with a nice shot of the city's Bankenviertel (its central business district) from across the Main River, a right-tributary of the Rhine. At the :20 mark, there's a nice shot of the new (opened in 2015) headquarters building of the European Central Bank, which lies just outside of the CBD.

Actually I just wanted to try new Mavic 3 Pro Cine that was on the market for a few days, especially the 70mm lens. I registered the flights, drove to Frankfurt and spent several hours on site. The sunset was breathtaking and I could not stop flying. However, after 8 batteries it was time and I captured some really good footage. Flying in very urban area near the Skylines is always a challenge. It was very windy that day which is always associated with an Andrealin push. The fact that the drone was brand new didn't make it any easier.

I will definitely visit Frankfurt again.PS. Please always fly responsible.
