AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Contributor Haussmannvisuals put together this magnificent compilation of aerial footage of Frankfurt in western Germany. The city was settled in Roman times, and became one of the most important free cities in the Holy Roman Empire. Absorbed into Germany in the 1860's, it ceded financial leadership to Berlin, but regained it following Germany's reunification. The video features impressive aerial footage of the central business district on the Main River as well as the upstream ECB headquarters.
